The Chestnut Inn is a classic country resort with a lovely and picturesque location on a beautiful lake. The bar and dining room offer a wonderful and incredible view of the water. The interior is welcoming, well maintained, and filled with charm and simple but elegant surroundings. The rooms are very clean, quiet, immaculately clean, and very inviting with comfortable beds. The staff are very attentive, accommodating, and provide great and excellent service. Guests find the atmosphere peaceful and quiet. The food has always been outstanding and delicious. The menu offers a wide variety of items that taste great. The drinks and seasonal cocktails are also delicious and unique. While some note the prices are a little pricey for the area, they are considered worth every dime for an occasional change of pace, great food, and relaxation. Many guests state they will definitely be back.
The location is lovely, and the food has always been outstanding. Great place to take the wife when she gets tired of the McD's drive thru. A little pricey for this area but worth every dime for an occasional change of pace.

We absolutely loved our stay! The rooms were very clean and quiet. The location is obviously beautiful. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was great! We will definitely be back sometime!
