Dix Hills Park Golf Course is a well-maintained, beautiful 9-hole course set in a woodsy and tranquil environment. It offers a great opportunity for golfers to improve their game, especially their second shots and short game, thanks to its design that includes four Par 4s and five Par 3s, with the longest hole measuring around 312 yards. The course is suitable for beginners and those looking for a relaxed round, with its mostly par 3s and some longer holes that require strategic play. Its elevated holes and uphill sections add variety and a bit of challenge, making it an excellent place to learn risk mitigation and recovery strategies. The course is also walkable, providing players with better visualization of their shots and opportunities to measure yardages. The overall condition of the course is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful, contributing to an enjoyable experience. There is a small driving range limited to mid and short irons, a practice putting green, and a chipping area, all of which help golfers refine their skills. While the course can get crowded, especially on busy days like Father’s Day, it remains a popular choice for residents and visitors alike. Overall, Dix Hills Park Golf Course offers a relaxed, well-kept setting ideal for improving skills, enjoying a peaceful round, or simply having fun on a budget.
For a public course, 9 holes, a fun stop on the radar to get out and practice your midrange game.
