“We just finished our time at the Danforth Apartments, and we had a great experience. Moving to NY from California was a difficult move; thankfully, working with Abigail made the transition easy. She was professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive to all of our questions through email and phone correspondence.
The location was great for us, especially with a dog. Sure, there was morning bus pick up noise, and some noise from people who went to the movie theater, but it wasn't extreme. The small neighborhood offered easy access to restaurants, a grocery store, and walkable surroundings, including the trailway alongside the Saw Mill Parkway.
Parking was never a problem for us, receiving packages was super easy, our neighbors were friendly, the pool was awesome, the management help monthly community activities, and the gym was convenient.
Thank you to the whole building team who allowed us to have a nice experience while residing at the Danforth — thank you for giving our family a safe place to live, while we were in Dobbs Ferry.

“I’ve lived in this apartment complex for the past four years, and overall, my experience has been a positive one. The community has always felt safe and well-maintained, and I’ve appreciated the quiet, comfortable atmosphere.
Irina, in particular, has been a standout during my time here. She’s always been kind, responsive, and truly listened whenever I brought up any concerns. It was clear she cared about making things right and followed through on getting issues resolved as quickly as possible.
Maintenance was generally quick to respond to requests, which I appreciated. While some fixes weren’t always the most thorough long-term solutions, the team did a good job of addressing the immediate issues and making sure things were presentable and functional again.
After a long wait, the clubhouse finally opened this year, and it looks like it will become a really valuable and usable space for the community going forward. It’s a great addition that adds a nice sense of shared community.
One thing to note: don’t count on the pool being open all summer, every summer. It was a pleasure to use when available, but there were seasons where it wasn’t consistently open, which was a bit disappointing during the warmer months.
All in all, this has been a good place to live, and I’m thankful for the time I spent here.”

“My wife and I lived at 15 Lake for two years. In hindsight, we were quite impressed.
Initially, we balked at the price of our apartment for the space we were renting; however, we got to meet some of the tenants, who told us quite candidly that this building was a nice place to live with nice people and good management. We agree. Additionally, when we renewed our lease, DeRosa raised our rent by only 2%; meaning that given the rising inflation, we were essentially paying less in Year 2!
The access to Turnure Park across the street was a lovely way to unwind after work/school. The cherry blossoms in the spring are positively stunning. My only regret is missing the festival that apparently never returned to the park, but I obviously do not blame DeRosa for that.
The inside of our building was pleasant, air conditioned, and quiet. Most importantly, it was clean. The only vermin issue we had in the two years living in our apartment was a single mouse, which was promptly taken care of. Otherwise, aside from the occasional spider, we lived without fear of infestation.
There were, however, two issues to consider. First, the laundry room. The price of doing laundry was rather high and the machines were not always operable. These conditions made for some frustrating laundry days.
Second, the elevator. In our final months living in our building, we found the inoperability of the elevator to be immensely frustrating. Moving out of our apartment was a difficult task; pushing the button for the ground floor did not guarantee that it would go to the ground floor, or any floor at all. In fact, none of the buttons worked as intended, and so we would often go on elevator rides of indefinite duration.
That said, we enjoyed our stay and would generally recommend renting here. The management company is responsive to work orders; the buildings are kept clean, cool, and quiet; and the rent is quite agreeable, especially for White Plains.”

Having moved from a house, it's also great having our own storage space in the garage.The high ceilings and almost floor to ceiling windows bring in a tremendous amount of light so it's always bright and cheery even on cloudy days.The proximity to all kinds of shopping and restaurants is tremendously convenient. We are just delighted that we made this move.”
“We’ve been owners, and fulltime residents, here for 7 years and it’s awesome. We swim and use the gym 3-4 times/wk. We have the security and convenience of a 24 hr doorman. The gym, pool, racquetball court, games rm, parking, maintenance – all included in our monthly fee. Our kids have been in the Tuckahoe schools since 1st and 3rd grades and are thriving and top of their classes. [Btw, Tuckahoe schools are totally under-rated and have exceptional teachers and sports!] And we can be on the train platform in 5 minutes. (3 at a push – believe me, I’ve done it!) I’d challenge anyone to find what the Tower Club offers in security, convenience, cost and amenities elsewhere.”

However, I do have a serious issue with their electricity billing. I get billed the same amount (quite high) even if Im out of town or not. This is something they need to resolve.”
