bought 2 bottles of 2006 Pagliaro ( see attached) 5 years ago from them. Just opened tonight. I stored both at 55 degrees. Both were worse than vinegar, like rusty water. They were never stored correctly before I bought them. Look on cellar tracker. This is supposed to be a long lived wine.

May be one of, if not the best wine shop I ever been to. The sommelier there is in his game. Everything from 40 dollar bordeaux to 1600 rothschild, their selection is amazing

Courteous and knowledgeable staff, round selection-- starkly in contrast to other nearby stores.

Beware of doing business with this company. Very difficult to work with and rude.

The selection is excellent. I gave this one star because the man who works there - the one who wears vests frequently - is really inappropriate. Aside from being very pompous and rude, I have watched him touch my friend on her neck without consent while she was casually browsing. It’s very creepy and made us wildly uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this has happened multiple times we’ve visited which has shown us this man’s true colors and consistent pattern of behavior. Beware.

We stopped by this wine shop on the to visit with family. Derek was guy who helped us and he was great. We live on the West coast and we were amazed to find such exclusive wines such as Merry Edwards Pinot Noir which is really awesome and difficult to find at any price. BTW, the price was really fair. I also noticed that they carry several of my favorites such as Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon.

Owner has been rude to me on a number of occasions. In fact, I can't recall a time he was ever once nice to me. Other employees usually treat me with respect. But I've had enough. I'm not giving my hard earned money to a business that has zero respect for me. The owner has a stick up his a** quite frankly. Seems like major ego issues, honestly. Save your money and go where you get the respect you deserve.

Impressive selection. Very fair prices. Owner really knows his stuff. A lot of what's on those shelves is *not* easy for a small shop to get. Props to them for doing so.

Waste of time - no online store, placing via the phone is a pain, and at the end, they told me they can't ship because they don't have insurance.

Have been filling my cellar at Rocheambeau for over 30 years. Deiter , Derek and Jeff are the nicest and most knowledgeable wine guys I have ever come across after so many years of pulling corks.I never hesitate to take advantage of any of their suggestions , they are wine professionals. Tell them the varietal and your price range and they will point you to the best bottle in this overstocked shop. From the outside of this local Dobbs Ferry treasure , it may look like your average local sleepy town liquor store . But once inside you quickly realize that this is a very serious specialty wine shop with a huge and carefully curated selection .A singular Westchester gem

Owner is rude but like another reviewer(s) said, so happy to see it wasn't only me! I walked in, a man was on the phone and workers in the back. I needed help selecting a wine so was looking around and also trying to get someone's attention. The man got off the phone and said to me, "Instead of walking around the store aimlessly, you could just ask me for help." So he is pointing the finger at the customer? I said, "You were on the phone and the others in the back seemed busy. I was waiting and also enjoying looking around. " I could not believe he started off with a customer accusing the person of doing something wrong when he was wrong if anyone. He could have told the person on phone to hold on and said to me he'll be with me in a minute or just anything. He could have said, "May I help you. You seem to need help. I see you walking around." when he got off the phone. Just anything else except to blame me for being the perfect customer would have been appropriate. Thereafter, he said he was the owner to me for 100 years (I'm exaggerating...but something like that). I did buy my wine there but in the future, I will go to Irvington Liquor here in my town which has to treat customers with more respect I would hope.
