Maybe some changes were made since all of the negative reviews because my experience using this post office over the last several months has been very positive. They certainly deserve higher marks than what is reflected on this page.I use this post office fairly frequently for work. Usually I need to send certified mail, or documents that are important and absolutely need to get where they are sent. The staff at the Dobbs Post Office are always helpful and cordial. They always answer my questions, and our business is conducted in a pleasant and efficient manner.I hope the Postmaster and staff are encouraged by this review as I have never had a negative experience and they are a wonderful example of what an experience using USPS should be. 5/5 stars.

The service was horrible. I came in to get my son's passport today, 10/7/2003. My appointment was for 10:45am and I arrived at 10:15 am. I completed the form for the passport and got on the line. He told us to get out of the line because the appointment was not until 10:45am and so I did. At 10:40am, the 10:30am appointment arrived. He took them right away so I was seen 10 minutes late. The representative had an attitude the entire time and so does the gentleman that takes the pictures. There was also a lady who does not work for the passport section and was nice and trying to be helpful.

The two gentlemen at the front desks are so helpful, polite and caring.Its a pleasure now to go to the Dobbs Ferry Post office!

Today I googled the D.F. post office for their hours of operation. I noticed all of the negative reviews. I totally agree with them, as the service in the past from a few of the Postal Clerks was bearly tolerable. The past few months however, my experiences there have been positive and helpful. The Postal Clerks are interested in helping with issues. Perhaps much of the staff has changed, maybe even the Postmaster has changed, because if the Postmaster isn't addressing the employees' behavior while at the service window, who would? It's good to not dread going to the P.O. again! The only reason I don't give this P.O. 5 stars, is that it desperately needs a make-over!

This post office has the worst customer experience of any place. The employees behind the counter are rude, intimidating, bullying, and making derogatory comments towards other customers. They also lose stuff, before it even leaves their office. Only in the post office do these people still have a job. No one cares, there doesn't seem to be anyone supervising these employees.It wasn't always like that, but in the past few years the service has deteriorated to such a low level that it doesn't even deserve one star. I'm out, my new post office is Ardsley.

I have noticed that several reviews have mentioned a miserable employee named Lateefah. She went out of her way to make our experience as difficult as possible. She was so incredibly rude and hostile. I really should have read the reviews before coming to this office. Never again!

Dobbs Ferry is the worst post office I've ever been to. Lateefah was so rude n demeanor even worst. She doesn't greet anyone or acknowledge a customer. No one does in there. There was not even a "next on line" The week prior she was on the phone at the window screaming n dealing with her personal issues on the front line. How professional? A white woman appears and she asked if she needed help. Today she completely was rude. She doesn't deserve to work at the window if she continues to be rude. I will bump this up further. Even the Indian supervisor was ZERO help. I know nothing will happen to her. Not even a conversation. I will report that location

Head manager at this location is incompetent. He is horrible with customer service and is unresponsive to customer inquiries. He has no control over his employees, and if anything, emboldens the bad employees. The head manager at this location needs to be fired like yesterday. It's no wonder USPS is losing money employing managers like him.

The attitudes with the ladies behind the desk is ridiculous! I grew up in the Rivertowns. I have filed a complaint before with the manager only to be shown a pile of previous complaints. No accountability whatsoever. I ask simple questions that can't be answered. I have had a PO Box there for 20 yrs. Time to look for another post office. I would be out of business if I treated my clients like this. The only sunshine is big D! Always very helpful and ready to go the extra mile

As a customer I go and do the best I can to be organized this way I don’t hold anyone up, especially since this post office is tiny with two people at the desk. I was serviced by one of the women and the attitude and inappropriate comments under her mask because I didn’t understand the verbiage she was using after stating the options for shipping, her tone, and her whole energy was a toxic mess. Don’t let their negativity ruin your day folks!
