“Union Saving Bank is a good bank to have an account with. I have always received prompt and friendly service. USB has products to meet all sorts of banking needs. The only drawback is that USB does not offer a free business checking account without a minimum balance requirement. I would love to see them offer this product so I may take advantage of it!”
“This is a small hometown bank with a very local feel to it. Everyone there has always been very helpful to me in many ways. I'm not sure where the anger comes from in other posts, but I've never had a problem with their computers, and I don't use Zelle, Venmo, etc., and I maintain my account balances so that I do not need to use 'overdraft' or bounce checks. I simply enter the bank, deposit checks or withdraw cash, take my receipt and a lollipop, the teller smiles and says 'thank you and have a good day'. The end. No 'drama', no problems. And if I ever attempted to cash a check and a bank teller told me it was not cashable or valid, and it was even their own check, as someone described, that would be a clear indicator to me that the check was no good. No, they are not going to divulge information about someone elses accounts. My beef would not be with the bank, but with the issuer of the check. If you're looking for a lot of banking 'bells and whistles', this is not the bank for you-I suggest that you go to a major global bank and deal with them and their multitude of requirements, and where they have no mercy or time for personal issues or problems. The Bank of Millbrook is a great small banking institution with deep roots in our community, where they do a lot of good that goes beyond what could ever be expected from a bank of any type, anywhere. I greatly appreciate their strong and stable presence in our Millbrook community.”
