The breakfast sandwich is reasonably priced, ice cream from the ice cream truck are close to the prices from when I was a kid.Friendly atmosphere, respectful employees. You can also get gasoline here, and there is a 24 hr laundromat. Renny's is a family business with the family atmosphere

Overall the cuisine in upstate New York is a downgrade from what I'm used to in SoCal but this place is the exception to that, to be fair it leans into the things that east coasters actually are good at, such as baking bread and slicing meat and cheese; as Pete Davidson said in his now-infamous Taco Bell commercial they serve "tasty, simple food" with quality ingredients prepared with militant precision. The price is fair, and the fare is consistently great. I always got two of the same thing when I lived in Dover plains and now that I live further afield I get four of the same thing and reheat two of them later.

It's just well run and dependable. Want it right and the same good quality every time? This is a hometown family run place that's been getting it right for decades.

Stopped here on our way to Bash Bish Falls from the city looking for sandwiches. It's a cute mom & pop shop. Clean and very homey. There's no official house menu so you have to go in with the mindset of knowing exactly what you want. No craft chef here. My recommendation: get the roast beef with white American cheese LTO with horseradish mayo on the hard roll and you will not be disappointed! They have drinks and chips and other goodies in the store if you so wish. Girls were really nice and patient with me being unsure of what to get.

Old school quality of service with hospitable staff and owners. Clean, homey and welcoming. Killer breakfast sandwiches, great fries and classic deli sandwiches. These kind of places are dying out, enjoy family owned establishments like this while you can.
