What a fun store! They truly have something here for everyone. Personally, I found a 170 year old book about how modern geology supports the biblical creation account. Truly a fun place!

Cool items for the true antiques there. So many rooms too walk through.

I've gotten a lot of good deals from this store. Old bottles, a nice antique vise for a work table... It is a little crowded in the store but that's what gives the place its charm...

Lots to see! I asked if he had any hats and he brought out a bag of them! Prices are fair. It's a little cluttered which can make it hard to find things and access certain areas but if you ask him he may know where to find what you're looking for?

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I can see why this place has received such poor reviews. Let me tell you about my experience here. I am a native of Duanesburg and over the years have purchased a few books from him. I am a book dealer...he said I could go through his books in the back and he would sell to me. After going in and spending 45 minutes pulling books I was interested in buying, he said, "I think I will keep them!" First, the books I pulled had many condition issues. There were loose bindings, cracked hinges, damp stains and soiling of covers. He asked me what I thought they were worth...I told him between $125-200 retail. He refused to sell. He is very attached to his items (Hoarder) and thinks he knows about prices but he DOES NOT! Second, everything he has in the store is in rough shape and his prices are through the roof. He is NOT very smart! I will NEVER step foot in his shop of junk again. Aside from this, I told a family member and a couple friends who have shopped there in the past about my experience. They also, will no longer be going there. I am going to spread the word far and wide to everyone I know to stay clear away from this garbage hole!! If you are looking for a great antique shop experience in Duanesburg check out Black Sheep and Myers Antiques. Your experience will be MUCH better with them.

This guy is a perverted degenerate. If you're a girl and plan on going into this shop alone, id advise bringing a can of pepper spray with you. I don't know how he made it this far in life without getting beat to death or thrown in jail. I feel sorry for any patron he's accosted. I especially feel sorry for his wife (if he's even married). Stay away from this shop.

The reviewer prior to me really hit it on the head and drove it straight home. Overpriced junk and, while there may have been a few decent finds here, tons of stuff you'd not give a second look to because of the red-flag prices. You know...I'm no antique shop owner or expert, but something tells me that it takes more than raiding an estate sale, tagging everything at four or five times what it should be just because it's old, and trying to sell it to out of towners spending the day "antiquing". A nod to the previous reviewer once again..."junktiquing", is more like it.

We've long been intrigued by this "antique" store's frontage on the Duanesburg Turnpike as we've gone back and forth, and resolved visit it at long last while doing a junktique tour of the area. The farm implements out front were quite intriguing, as was the building's obvious early history as a roadside tavern/inn at this old wayfarer's intersection. Sadly, Remember When proved to have two types of items. The former were mildly intriguing older items, such as needlepoint chairs and the aforementioned farm artifacts such as milk cans or old plow furrows, completely overrpriced. By factors of four or five. The second type of item is an eclectic olio of items ranging from old tools to old magazines to china to a few vintage clothes to orphaned large scale photographs, which have the common theme of looking like leftovers from an estate sale, and they also tended to be quite overpriced. I'm a big fan of dickering about things, but one thing I've learned from a lot of negotiations at used and thrift places over the years is that if the owner thinks the things are truly "antiques" and not just old stuff, and prices it accordingly, there's no point in starting out because your lowball price will be rejected, often with the sense one has insulted the owner. That said, I wasn't even tempted by much here. If this was called a "junk store" and was priced accordingly, I'd be more admiring, but as it is I can't really recommend it as being worth your time unless you are a completist about scouring every such store in a given area.
