Dollar General used to be my 'go to' store if I was in a hurry and only needed a couple things. And it has always been my store for buying my cleaning products, straight up. But sometimes it gets tiring trying to maneuver down the narrow aisles with a cart when every other aisle has a rack of merchandise needing to be stocked onto the shelves. On more than one occasion I wasn't able to see or reach an item because of one of these racks and it was too heavy to move it out of the way myself. When the only employee available is on register, I can't very well ask them for help with moving the heavy rack. So now, since a Dollar Tree has opened up in the same plaza as Dollar General and a lot of the business that I once gave to Dollar General is now being handed over to Dollar Tree. However, I still prefer to buy my detergents and cleaning products from Dollar General because their prices can't be beat in that department!

Bread was put at the bottom of the bag, as you can see bread was smashed...Probably will just stick to tops or somewhere else for these types of foods.

Since the store moved over where family video was, it's so hard to get around isles are blocked with carts full of cardboard. Their food selection has gone way down. And the service here stinks. You ask a question and a few of the employees bite your head off. I miss Shelia. She was the best. I came in the store a few days ago could not find what I was looking so I asked the new manager if they carried what I was looking for. She looked me dead in the eyes and said if you can't find how am I supposed to? And you can't find it we probably don't carry it. What a joke.I'll start going to the dollar general in Fredonia.

If I could this store 0 stars I would! Went in to get a few items and when we approached the cash register the employee shoved her ‘please see next register sign’ in my fiancé’s face, my fiancé apologized and the employee just scoffed and walked away!! We left our stuff and walked out, absolutely disgusting. I understand people are stressed with the pandemic and holidays but I am a nurse, I work the front lines every day, and I’m disgusted with the way we were treated. I worked in retail through school so I know how frustrating it can be. Do better as a company, don’t hire people who can’t handle the stress of the holidays.
