I hate to be that guy that puts down a small business. A few friends and I went here for dinner. The food was very bland overall. I was extremely disappointed with the mofongo. It was incredibly dry and flavorless. Some of the pork pieces were still a bit undercooked. Unfortunately, the pork was also half fat. For the price that was paid and the quality of the food, I wouldn't recommend it. The people working there are very nice, and it has beautiful murals on the walls. However nice service and murals don't make the food any better. Sad to say I wouldn't come here again.

Ordered for work lunch. Rice only had about 5 beans in it and absolutely no flavor. The meat pies were tiny and the fried chicken was way over cooked. This was 60 dollars for 3 people. Not a very happy customer. Gentleman who brought out the food for me was very nice though.

Long wait time, staff could use some training or are very forgetful. The food tasted like it was from a school cafeteria and was far overpriced for the quality. Not recommended

I hate to put down any local small business,I'm no food critic I'll eat almost anything but my experience was a zero stars! My party of 3 was greated and sat down quickly at 5:30pm on a Friday but not saying much as we were only the 3rd table in there at that time. A lot of things were scratched out on menu with Sharpie, still plenty of options and ordered what we thought would satisfy. 30 mins later server never brought our drinks yet and we noticed table before us was not served yet not sure when they ordered before we arrived. After asking server how much longer we finally got our food after an hour main dish came out the the apps and had to ask for our drinks.come on its rice and beans don't take no hour! The peppered steak wasn't much more than unseasoned steak-ums 3 thin strips of green pepper and one strip of onion with a 5¢ dollop of rice. The $3 meat pies were 2 bites over cooked grease soaked. 3 meat sandwich something you'd get from a dive bar kitchen and the I think fresh cut (black sticks)fries were extra cost! 2 other tables had sat down during this time and both had left before ordering! $77.00 of terrible food long wait poor service no offering any comp for our wait or verbal dissatisfaction just an excuse of short staffed. You had 3 tables! Eating fryer food and rice!! Come on I'd think the 4 different people plus waiter we seen come from kitchen area in our 110 mins stay could make things happen better than that!Don't recommendedOver pricedWaste of timeDefinitely nothing "Authentic Puerto Rican"Closing Soon

Absolutely incredible food. Lots of salt on the chicken stew and tostones but made better because of it. I've eaten here before at the pier but at their location in the plaza everything was perfect for lunch!
