It's hit or miss with this veterinary hospital. Have taken 2 birds there at 2 different times but seen Dr Adamcak both times. 1 bird lived, 1 bird died. Not going to get into alot of details here, but 2nd bird was not even treated for the most important reason I took her there. Called to let them know bird was getting worse - no call back. Will be looking for another avian certified vet that actually listens to their customers.

I started taking my rabbits here recently and am always pleased with every visit. I drive over an hour to see them as there are very limited vets that work with exotics in my area, and it's always worth the drive. They're very caring and patiently listen to any concerns I have about my precious babies ? I also genuinely appreciate that they don't try to drain you of every penny and will even suggest less expensive places to obtain supplements/certain treatments rather than pressuring you to purchase it thru them. One of my bunnies requires frequent cleaning with a special solution and they showed me where I could buy a jug of it rather than making me get small bottles thru them.

They're the most money hungry, uncaring cold people I've ever met in a long time. We take our ferret for a checkup because he wasn't eating or drinking and was tired. We pay for xrays and we pay so the radioologist can look at the xrays. They say there is definetly blockage and they have to go through surgery. I get a call from them at 8am which wakes me up, and I have this lady on the phone who is just giving me so much attitude for no reason, she says he needs surgery so given I had just woken up I was a little confused and I ask her what time range should we come to the vet, she gives me even more attitude and says "YOU NEED TO BRING HIM RIGHT NOW". I was so baffled that they were going to be that ignorant to me. So we get ready and we hit the road, once were there this lady takes our ferret and says we can come back at 3 or 4 and he'll be all set. Then we get a call two hours later and they say with no care or sympathy we aren't fully equipped to do continue the procedure so we are going to have to euthanize him, we're going to try to keep him alive as long as possible. We get there as quick as possible and theres this lady who has no idea what shes doing, and before even telling us if our ferret is alive or showing us him she is asking us about how we want him cremated. How can you be so ignorant to not even give us the sympathy that we so badly needed, we just wanted to take our ferret home to his brother but instead we have these money hungry dregs of humanity squeezing out as much money as possible. They finally bring out our ferret and they sit him on the table and then say so ok lets get you guys to pay while our ferret is sitting on the table in pain they care about the money first. I was so emotionally in pain I had to fork over $1900 while I watch my ferret suffer. Its insane how all these reviews on here are saying the same things as I, and the owner just responds all snarky, acting like they have the morale high ground.

Do not bring your ferret here , I called many places and they all recommended me to come here and I went there and they took advantage of my ferrets situation and decided to put my ferret in surgery saying that was really the only option and then tell me an hour later that he needs to be put down because they weren’t equipped enough to deal with his condition. I get to the office and the first thing asked was “do you want to cremate your animal or no” how insensitive I don’t even know if my ferret is alive or if I can take him somewhere else they just jumped right to death. All the staff was very rude except one lady and she was the only person to actually care about my ferret and tried her best. I paid so much money for nothing gave me tons of medicine that was extremely expensive and had me go out and buy different types of medicine for not even 1 use. Do not bring your animal here the lack of care in this facility is disgusting and while my ferret is passing away all I can here from the other side of the wall is a whole bunch of laughter and giggling who would want to hear that while there pet is dying. Do more research and don’t bring your animal here because they only want to squeeze money out of you.
