If you enjoy exploring the local area, and not being able to finish asking a question stop into a gerber, everyone seems to have their own opinion. I wanted to get a estimate, since it was on my way home from work I stopped at the one in Wheatfield where the 2 desk operators looked at me like "what are you doing here", so I asked for an estimate and they said we only do those by appointment. For a better mental picture there was literally no work going on, no car in the bay. They told me they're booked out 3 weeks for estimates...so I told them nevermind and left, So i called another because on my way home near the boulevard mall theres a second. The lady over the phone says we usually do them by appointment but you might be able to get in and says verbatim "don't tell them I told you that" so thinking hey I give it a shot. I stopped in and when i told the receptionist I would like a quote, she stated they don't do quick quotes, and rather arrogantly flips her jacket and points to it and says "when we were carubba we did", and shows me her inside shirt and points to gerber saying "as gerber our policy is appointment only". I stated a lady on the phone said I might be able to get in, she replied "well shame on her". As I was waiting for a moment to speak because it was a long winded can't do it, I just interrupted and said nevermind I'll go elsewhere. So because 3 employees wanted to play point the finger I wasted hrs driving around, and couldn't even get an uninterrupted moment in to tell them i needed a quote done asap as a federal employee due to a work vehicle hitting my personal vehicle. So in short anything to do with gerber call and make an appointment or you'll have a lovely afternoon canvassing WNY talking to people that dont let you get a word in and just want to send you to the next spot to get you out.All the first employee had to say in a polite way was hey Sir, gerber has a policy where they only do estimates by appointment. Instead I have to get looks like what are you doing here and listen to total soup sandwiches talk

Takes months to get finish with your vehicle and when the give you a day for pick on that same day they choose to reschedule

I’m torn on what to write here. My van came back looking pristine. Did everything they said they would do and more. Even detailed the interior. I appreciate that so much. It needed a new side panel and some paint work. Only comment I have to make is communication was very hit or miss. The text service was good. But when I called for an update the gentleman who gave me the update made me feel like a complete idiot. “You just dropped it off this morning what do you want me to tell you. It’ll be back in 9 days”. Well I wasn’t calling to rush service. I was calling because I dropped my vehicle off the night before and was told I would receive paperwork to sign via email which I never got. I didn’t know how long it was going to take or any details whatsoever. This was important because I declined a rental car. As a profession I have to be able to transport my dogs. Rentals do not allow that. Besides the professional side of what I do I have one dog who tasks for me. I would recommend their work again because clearly this is a top notch collision shop. But please please work on client communication. The woman at the desk tho in person was lovely. Very professional and kind. Thanks for getting my car back to me earlier than the 9 days I was given during that call.

I have a 2022 Toyota Camry! I was in an accident within a month of having said car. The front end was heavily damaged as well as windshield and internal damage! I was so stressed about what the finished product would look like, given it was brand new! Well, the end result was extraordinary! What the finished product looked like was amazing! The staff, management, and service were remarkable! They keep you informed along the way, very courteous, helpful! I thank them from the bottom of my heart! I've never been so disrespected by a receptionist. Highly recommend asking for someone else if Sarah answers. I called to find out if I could drop off my car because clearly one person can't drive 2 cars and I need to pick up a rental. I spoke with state farm who informed me to go ahead and get the rental. Sarah decided to explain state farms policies to me even tho I had just hung up with a claims representative. I finalized my call by explaining that if I went over 30 days with a rental and they were unable to fix my car by then i would deal with it with the insurance company, and my question only needed a yes or no answer. She told me do whatever you want I told her thank you have a nice day and she ended the call before I could complete my sentence. Great way to represent Gerber collision Sarah. Definitely taking my car and insurance and money elsewhere.

I had my car brought in after an accident. They not only got a speedy estimate, but my car was done WAY ahead of the time they said it would be ready! 2 days time, when it was predicted to be a week or two! When I came to pick up my car, she looked better than new! And cleaned thoroughly, inside and out! I drove her home a very happy customer! Thank you, Gerber!Service: Body & Trim
