“By far one of the best veterinarian clinics I’ve been to. This should be the golden standard for every clinic out there. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in my time of need and were quick to lend a hand. They provided my little quaker parrot Jackie with the most attentive and tender care I could ever ask for with professionalism that made me confident that he’d be ok. I unfortunately had to keep him here for 2 nights due to his condition but fortunately I had Dr.Wade who kept me updated the entire time, even after hours, and ensured Jackie was as comfortable and nourished as possible. She was awesome, super friendly, and knowledgeable. The pricing on everything wasn’t bad at all, it was clearly communicated with me and worth every penny because my little guy is doing so much better. “I never give 5 star reviews, but I cannot recommend this place enough.
I started going to Transit Animal Hospital in January 2023. I needed a place closer to home for my aging, sick kitty. The people here were so wonderful with him that I now take my rescue kitty, Sweetpea, to them. They are gentle and compassionate with the fur babies and I am very impressed by that and by their professionalism. They discuss billing before they do any procedure so you know what you are paying for and what it will cost.
If you want to BEST CARE at a decent price this is the best place for your fur baby!”

“We had a chicken get hurt, and this was the only place that would look at her. They fit us in the next day. Everybody there is so kind and compassionate. Our chicken had to go in for the day. When we brought her in, Helen (vet tech) worked with my daughter to reassure her that her chicken would be comfortable there. Later that day, we found out that we were going to have to put her down. While we were there, Helen had popped in and told us that she had given my daughter's chicken treats throughout the day. I can't explain what that meant to us. Dr. Hess stayed and answered our questions, so we knew there wasn't anything else we could realistically do to save her. On top of their amazing staff, their prices were not as much as I expected.”

“I truly can not say enough good things about this office and the staff.
I had adopted a large breed dog from a local shelter and he was not neutered prior to picking him up because he was sick. Between then and when I was supposed to bring him back he was injured playing with my other dog and my regular vet informed me they usually wait to neuter giant breeds so they have time to grow properly and to check with the shelter to see if this was okay since they felt it was very necessary given his rough start to life. After much back and forth with the shelter and their vet and eventually my lawyer, the shelter agreed to a vasectomy. My regular vet does not do them so I had to find one that did. Luckily I came across Amherst Small Animal Hospital.
From start to finish their staff was kind, helpful and understanding. Dr. Stein absolutely agreed with my regular vet and said this was in the best interest of my dog's long term growth and fit me in to adhere to the very tight deadline I had. Dr. Stein was incredibly kind and professional. He listened to my story, gave me his background, told me the science behind why it was important for my dog and reassured me that I made the right choice in fighting for this course of action. The staff was kind, understanding, professional and also reassuring both on the phone and in person.
I will forever be grateful to this practice and staff for their care and support.”

“I have been going to Dr. Parisi for over 40 years. Numerous dogs and cats with different ailments. Dr.Parisi had always given them the best care. He’s kind and cares about the animals. I moved from Cheektowaga area 9 years ago and make the 40 minute drive even though I’m probably passing 20 Veterinarian's along the way. I will not have anyone else caring for my dogs except Dr. Parisi.”

“We recently lost our cat of 15 years. He was a patient here, so we asked them about cremation. They went way above and beyond what I expected. We got a lovely sympathy card in the mail signed by the entire staff with thoughtful notes. We've been happy with them for a while in how they take care of our animals. Prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommended.”
