We frequent Kornerstone Cafe. The breakfast sandwich that we like has an egg, asiago cheese and a bit of spinach on a homemade english muffin or bagel. Both are great! One of the staff members there is Sam. He is a hoot, so nice, a hard worker and always very pleasant. As for the drinks, we get the iced caramel latte...it is so good. They use Monin syrups which I think taste the best. Recently, my daughter tried the iced white chocolate lavender matcha. WOW, just terrific. I don't like lavender or matcha but this was really good!! I say give this place a chance. If you're not happy with something, let them know. The owner, I have spoken to a couple of times is also very gracious and I really just love this place. It gets 5 stars.

A Delightful Morning at Kornerstone Cafe in Historic East Aurora, NY I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the Everything Bagel Breakfast Sandwich at Kornerstone Cafe, located in the heart of the historic Village of East Aurora, NY. This exciting culinary adventure was inspired by a recommendation from one of our VIP followers. Nestled in the largest historic village in New York State, Kornerstone Cafe perfectly captures the essence of East Aurora's rich heritage while adding its own modern flair. The Everything Bagel Breakfast Sandwich, loaded with fresh eggs, spinach, and ham, was a delicious revelation, complemented by a delightful house blend coffee. What truly distinguishes Kornerstone Cafe is not just its delectable offerings but also its exceptional customer service. The staff, influenced by the warm spirit of East Aurora, surpassed my expectations with their friendliness and attentiveness. This café is a gem in a village that holds a unique place in New York State's history. An exciting recommendation from a VIP follower, coupled with the charm of East Aurora, makes Kornerstone Cafe a must-visit destination for both locals and visitors alike. A delightful morning indeed in this historic and vibrant village! Thank you again from The Essence of Travel and Discoveries, a KAMAR Media Film Production Company.

Place is cute, staff is friendly but food is just ok. I tried the homemade English muffin breakfast sandwich and it was more like a roll. It was missing the crisp outside so maybe they needed to toast it longer. The eggs had a weird texture and I think it may have been Swiss cheese which was a bad idea and didn't have enough of either. Would not get that again but they do have a big menu so maybe other items would be good. The place was packed so they must be doing something right...

Waited 35 minutes for an açaí bowl while sitting in a cramped seating area with around 15 other customers. It was frustrating to see the lack of organization and communication, but even worse was the response from the staff when we asked about when we would receive item. The staff made us feel that we were inconveniencing them as we waited patiently. Once we received the bowl, it was good, but the other item we ordered (frittata) was cold with dry edges.

WORST. EXPERIENCE. IN. A. COFFEE SHOP. EVER. I ordered something completely uncomplicated: a small decaffeinated coffee with room for cream to go. Easy, right? Nothing requiring more than pouring, really. The clerk, a British guy who called me brother, mate, etc, which I hate, stated that the decaf was in the process of brewing and would be ready in 2 minutes. That 2 minutes turned into nearly 20 minutes, and several other orders including coffee drinks came out whilst I patiently waited for my "easy" drink. Nothing. No acknowledgement that it was coming. More orders and drinks served to other patrons. I was fed up. I left and walked around the corner to the EA Co-op to grab a cup of hot decaf, which, incidentally, is already ready in a carafe—no waiting —and tastes just as good for a dollar less and no requirement of the presumptive tip for good service that may well never come. I probably would otherwise spend up to $20 in Kornerstone a week but for this horrible experience. I like to support local merchants and businesses, but I won't support poor service. Too bad for them. I'll never return.********UPDATE**************************The owner reached out to me, as you can see below, to make amends. I appreciate her effort and the attempt to resolve my concern. She offered and sent me a refund along with a gift card to Kornerstone for a future visit. I'll return to her establishment because good customer service like hers deserves another chance.

My go-to order is always the chocolate silk smoothie. I absolutely love the hint on cinnamon mixed in as well as the house salad, with house dressing and the vegan chicken salad poured on top. It's such a treat.
