Woke = broke. And work until only 4pm most days and now don't have Saturday hours at all. Some nice people to your face... If you are wearing a mask ... But now they are over the masks. Because their politicians said so..not because real science is science.

Great bank, helped me out with ease in regards to opening a new chequing account. Would totally recommend coming here. Also the bankers, staff, and clerks were extremely friendly

We have been to this branch many times because after much review of local bank options for our business, we decided to go with M & T, and as for the bank as a whole, I have very little issue with them. This branch on the other had is not what I would call the best. The first experience I had here was having to sign the paperwork that my partner left for me so I could be added to the account. I went to talk to the woman at customer service, and immediately and gruffly asked to sit down in the seat because she was in the middle of an online exam for her real estate license. OK, that's weird, but what else am I going to do, so I sat down and waited. 20 minutes later, she told me I could come over, and angrily eluded to the fact that I was the cause of her not doing very well on her test. After we got through that experience, and she escorted me to an office 2 feet away to the person with my paperwork, that walked by us 5 or so times without saying a word, we were asked why we didn't just come into her office. I don't know, why don't you come into my office unannounced and with unknown purpose? All seemingly went well until I got a call a week later saying she lost the paperwork and had me come back in to sign them again. Awesome. This time i just walked in and we got them signed. Now a week ago, I got a call saying that they set up our account in violation of state law, and they needed to backtrack and get more paperwork from us, 2 years later. So now we make a deposit at least once a week here, and they have a line specifically for commercial accounts, however, more often than not, they only have 1 person at counter at a time, and a line to the door. They employees still have long drown out conversations with everyone that comes in. There is something to be said about that hometown feel, but not to the detriment to people that are in there on their lunch to do their checking because no bank is open, when the nine to fivers have free time to use a bank. On top of this, I am in my early 30's in the commerce line, and the ageism comes in here. I am constantly ignored and get what seem like dirty looks, like I have no business being that line, I am too young to be doing commercial business. At one point of being ignored for 15 minutes, i left and went to the Orchard Park branch, walked right in, did my business quickly and was out in 2 minutes. Unfortunately, that added 40 minutes round trip to my day. Most recently, I went in for change for the till, and while apologetic the person with the key to the change went to lunch. Maybe it is good to know that their security is so tight, but what the take away from the most recent experience is that one person has all the power, that she takes with her to lunch, and the general staff start looking stupid, when, in that case, is hardly their fault. Take away from all of this is, they would probably do well to restaff the location, at least in part. Management apparently has not see the holes in the service provided, and therefore makes it a very difficult experience any time I am there to do very simple business.
