“I have to start by saying that if I could give Sara and The Rose Hanger shop and staff 10 stars, I absolutely would! First off, you can always count on a friendly, kind, helpful staff and a beautifully laid out shop that is bright, clean, and fresh feeling, but still cozy! As a disabled person, the shop itself is often very important to me, due to accessibility issues. In a lot of historic towns and villages, the buildings are gorgeous but not very accessible. However, I have zero wheelchair issues here! Second, the styles offered all fall into a very fashion-forward, yet classic aesthetic. That said, there is a very wide variety of said fashions! Many of the styles feature aspects of micro trends, as opposed to being overly ‘now’ and trendy, which allows you to re-wear the pieces over and over again in different ways. But not to worry; if you’re feeling extra, they stil have your back! Cue the holiday 2022 sparkle shop! Finally, and most importantly, the founder and owner, Sarah, is the most dedicated, kind-hearted, and genuine business woman! I can confidently say I have NEVER been able to message the founder of a company to personally discuss my needs. Ever since my car accident, finding clothing that fits has become incredibly difficult. As someone who found so much passion in fashion (sorry couldn’t help myself lol), my new frail body has done a number to my confidence and mental health. Fitting rooms are the devil and clothing is its minions. But Sara is ALWAYS available and ready and willing to help discuss fits and cuts and styles before I even get to the dreaded try-on phase, which helps eliminate a lot of anxiety right off the bat! Can you call up the ceo of Zara and get that? Didn’t think so. If you have one place to go this holiday season for gifts or a treat yo’self moment, PLEASE stop into the Rose Hanger and support a locally-owned, female-founded, small business!!! ?”

I got exactly what I was looking for at a great price! They have just about everything, but if you need formal wear (formal dinner, prom, mother of the bride etc) check here first!”

I cannot say enough incredible things about this dress shop and its owner. My wife had a last-minute issue with her dress for a wedding that was starting in just one hour—stress levels were through the roof. The owner immediately stepped in and went so far above and beyond anything we could have expected.

She trusted me, a complete stranger she had never met before, to leave with one of her dresses so my wife could see it while I rushed to pick up the original dress so she could attempt to fix it. That level of trust, kindness, and compassion is something you rarely see anymore.

Not only did she successfully fix the dress in time, but when I tried to pay her, she refused and simply told me to go enjoy our night. Because of her, my wife’s stress completely disappeared and we were able to fully enjoy our evening.
