Never got to try the food. We called on Thursday to make a reservation for a party of 10 Saturday night vending at 4pm. Was told they didn’t take reservations but would not be a problem they have many available tables for party’s of 10. Call today to be sure they were open due to the snow. They are but told me they wouldn’t have room for us because they are booked up. Apparently they take reservations for party’s over 20. I was very surprised that they told us it wouldn’t be an issue but now it is. Not very good way to conduct a business

We had our wedding reception here 30+ years ago and would've have it 5 stars then too! Today, one of few places that has a salad bar, simple as it is. Food is delicious and staff is friendly and attentive. Bar area can be a bit loud due to the fact it's really the only bar in the area. Outdoor seating seasonally lakeside is wonderful. Prices are reasonable and husband loves the prime rib! Never had a bad meal here!

My wife and I frequently enjoy the delicious food and fantastic service. We wonderful German fare with potato pancakes while her son delights in burgers and fries. We went to an all you can eat Saint Paddy's Day meal expecting at least decent corned beef and cabbage. The meal exceeded all expectations and we both agree that it's the best corned beef and cabbage we've ever tested! Thank you all for such an excellent dining experience.

I love Maple on the Lake. The food is really good and consistently so. The service is always lovely and the ambiance is warm and comforting. They are situated upon a beautiful lake. Dining outside on the deck in warm weather is sublime. In cooler weather you can sit at the bar, with a warm glowy fireplace at your back. Or you can choose to sit at a table overlooking the lake.

We have been many times and it was always a good experience. Last Saturday wasn’t one of those times. Although the calamari topping was very good the odd thick uniform pieces of calamari were tough. Our table of four ordered two sauerbraten that were very good. I had ordered Osso Bucco which I have had there before. Tough, dry old tasting meat with gravy that was clearly powdered onion soup mix used in excess. The 4th person ordered the Salmon which was extremely dry and very fishy tasting. The simple salad bar is usually good but the thousand island dressing was so salty it made the salad inedible. I didn’t feel well for two days after having dinner there.

Went for lunch, had the salad bar, maple glazed salmon and glazed carrots. Everything was so good. As it was a Saturday there was a party going on in the big room. I have never had a bad meal here!

The place is very nostalgic with lake views. Salad bar is great. Ordered the mushroom ravioli with sirloin. The ravioli were lukewarm served with a non homemade gravy, was hoping for a creamy mushroom sauce, it was awful. The sirloin was ok, cooked medium as asked, but the rest ruined it. They really need a culinary skilled cook/chef in the kitchen with the prices they are asking for the dish. I paid $22 for frozen ravioli with canned gravy.
