I'm never comfortable in this store, maybe because it's small, always crowded and doesn't seem to operate as effciently as it could. However, big call out today with a THANK YOU to the pharmacy team for filling my last-minute prescription on Labor Day when they closed at 2 PM. Urgent Call called CVS at 140 PM, I arrived at 142 PM, and I was out of there at 155 PM. Not life threatening but when you have a lingering cold for 3 weeks, and it feels like it's getting worse, it almost feels, life threatening. The Doctor finally stepped up and prescribed more than OTC solutions and inside of 12 hours I am already feeling better. THANK YOU CVS pharmacy team for filling both prescriptions.

The only problem I have encountered is with transferring prescriptions from one state to another. The East Hampton pharmacy does not have enough employees. One is on hold forever, the woman was the only one working, when the Hamptons are flooded with people form all over the country and beyond in August. It took at least 3 hours on hold to be told that the prescription would be ready in one hour. The problem was that I had clicked "1" in Florida for refill. Yes, I wanted the prescription refilled today. This click prevented the East Hampton pharmacy from being able to refill the prescription, according to my phone conversations. The top people at CVS are making a fortune. The company needs to hir more people and pay them more. it is very simple. I would not do business with CVS if it not for the situation that prescriptions cannot be transferred from one state to another to private pharmacies. The conglomerates ( perhaps they are globalists, but I don't know) like CVS have gotten the laws in their favor. What are the local people--the people--supposed to do? I want to support the local people, not the SEO at his home in Kawaii or Martha's Vineyard. There are many of us like this. you may wonder why so many people support Trump ( I wonder, too). I do not and have never supported Trump. But when there are executives not paying good enough salaries to their employees- and I can tell you that all of the employees at this store are beyond friendly, helpful and nice--I get more than angry. And there are a lot of angry Americans at you executives, who in my opinion, do not treat. others as they would sit to be treated themselves. I am happy that you executi's are at Martha's vVineyard (Nantuckett, excuse me) , in the Hamptons or traveling throughout the world. However, you can treat your employees better. Do you think about the morality of distributive justice/. How do you think wealth should be distributed? Like the Medicis , the Borgias? I did my dissertation on this topic and the summary is published. Money dos not lead to happiness ( obviously you have to have certain amount to survive). I am not to the left politically. However, I am a moral person. How can we (the US at the moment, or all of Western civilization which is at stake) survive if you do not believe that you must treat other people the way you wish to be treated? Who are you executives? unless you change right now, you are the incoration of . . should I say, do I dare say, yes, I am going to say. .Well you know what I am thinking. Rebecca Coleman Curtis

This is by far the worst CVS in the country. The pharmacy is always out of stock, they never order anything on time, they are insanely rude, and they often pretend that their computers aren't working so they don't have to bother giving you your medication. You are better off at any pharmacy within a 3 hour drive. Avoid this store at all costs!!

Even though it’s always packed, and the lines are long, the customer service and the attentiveness of the people working there is always very appreciated.

Worst CVS pharmacy ever. Basically, you wait in line just to be told that your medication isn't ready so after waiting for 10 min on line and also having people cut you (bc of the entitlement) are the ones who are waiting for their medications. They think they can cut the line bc the pharmacist says it's ready and they jump the line while they are in the sideline . Complete chaos, zero order, bad customer service

These CVS pharmacies in East Hampton are a s#*t show! EVERY TIME I have a prescription, I have to wait because it's not filled yet, and there's always other waiting in frustration. And mind you, I make sure to give them hours before I arrive. My advice, call and make sure your prescription is ready. If "the hamptons" had any etiquette, it's definitely not at CVS out here!!!!

The CVS in E. H. is the worst CVS ever How is it possible that a person that needs to check on her medication calls and they never, ever pick up the phone! Then I get a tx that my med. is ready but I get there and wait for 35 minutes on the line they tell me that it won't be ready for another 2 hours. Then I said you tx that it was ready. They give a blank face with no explanation. I come back 3 hours later she says now you have to wait 40 minutes because it is still not ready. The personnel is incompetent.Unfortunately for me, I am bipolar and therefore, sometimes inpatient. Again I wait in line for 30 minutes when it's my turn and as the line gets longer the woman on the counter stars bs ing with the guy who picked up aspirin and toothpaste?" If I hadn't spoken up, she would have continued to talk for another 20 minutes!!! If there is a -10 *, that's what they deserve!

Pharmacy/Vaccination with a side of kindness! Was looking for a close place for Covid booster shot. CVS RX team at 38 Pantigo Road, East Hampton made it super easy and safe. The pharmacist, Theodore Heinz was prompt, professional and administered my shot efficiently and with less pain to my arm than past 2 in NYC. And the gentleman gave vaccinations with a kind manner in between his busy day of filing prescriptions. Service with genuine kindness is so appreciated in these times

I'm generally quite a patient, easygoing and tolerant person. But as someone who relies on several prescription medications and has lots of experience in the healthcare system, I can say hands down that this is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to do business with. I can't count the number of times I've received erroneous or ambiguous text messages about filled prescriptions that were actually not filled and not in stock; or encountered mistakes regarding the transfer of prescriptions to or from other pharmacies in the network; or not received notification of a filled prescription; or found that my confirmed instructions to pause (or resume) automatic refills were not implemented, causing headaches when I try to fill at a different location when I am not in East Hampton. Worse, it's nearly impossible to verify status of any of this by phone prior to wasting one's time driving in, as the hold times are always - always - ridiculous. It's a travesty that if you live in or near East Hampton, options for major pharmacies are limited, so this shamefully lazy and inept establishment is likely thriving despite unfathomably poor treatment of its best customers.
