I was a little bit skeptical at first because I had read all the other reviews, and while it is expensive (comparable to ANY hotel or Air bnb in the Hamptons during peak summer), imo EHP is 100% worth it! Each room/ cottage is in its own little area, so you first park by the Reception to check in, but then they give you a little map to where your room is and then you can park directly next to your room, which ended up being very convenient as we drove into the town and to the beach a lot during our stay.
EHP contacted us before our arrival to make sure they knew when they should expect us. They were very friendly and informative at check in. Our room was ready right at check in time, our cottage was pet friendly, had a huge bathtub, and was very clean. 5 minutes after we had settled into our room, they delivered a dog bed and two dog bowls, which I was not expecting. Very nice !
This hotel is located on the bay side of East Hampton- but I really liked it ! It was a little bit quiet but you are 5-10 minute drive from some nice beaches on the bay and 10-15 minutes from different beaches in East Hampton and a 15 minute drive from Amagansett.
I have to also mention I changed our dates 2-3 times before our arrival, and Ruchi the manager was very kind and accommodating and handled everything and communicated everything over email perfectly.
I will definitely come again!!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time at EHP Resort and Marina. Everything from the our absolutely stunning cottage, to the beautiful grounds and delicious dinners we had at the resort was a A+! A special ‘Thank You’ to the awesome staff. Every single person went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. I highly recommend visiting EHP Resort and Marina. We will be back!

We had appetizers at SiSi's and the calamari was fantastic! The view was good. It would've been nice to have better seats but it was accessible to take pics. The cocktails were good too.
Safety: The valets seem to always be outside so I felt safe as a result.

We stayed at the EHP Resort for 3 nights June 2024, we have a 2 bed suite which was like a cottage in beautiful woodlands also on the bay with a lovely pool area, cream and white decor with 2 fire places it felt so homely, The beds where so comfy wonderful linens, and 2 fabulous bathrooms, We also had a complementary boat trip which they offer mon to fri, which was a lovely experience, We dined in both restaurants which are walkable from all cottages, We had such a warm welcome from start to finish off Ruchi and Loric, They could not do enough for us, They have a complimentary SUV into the town of East Hamptons which worked perfect for us, as we did not have a car for 2 days of our stay, If visiting East Hamptons well worth staying or going to try the restaurants, Can not fault it, Thanks again Ruchi & Loric

This is a delayed post from when we stayed in June 2023, because like a prior reviewer I couldn’t stand to contemplate this place.Do not stay here. This is a “resort” for the Instagram era - just surface and superficiality, no substance whatsoever. You would have a more elegant experience staying at a motel, since EHP is a poorly-run front, essentially a shell business that is astronomically overpriced. During our 3-night stay, management was basically absent, the front desk and staff was unreachable, the “cottages” were unkempt, broken down and bug-ridden, the promised services included in the room rate were unprovided, basic amenities such as the bed (for god sake) was low quality, and housekeeping was nonexistent-to-negligent. We raised our concerns about the shoddiness with the staff (miraculously, just once, someone was sitting there), and they referred us to an email address to air our specific grievances with the promise that someone would respond and address each one. Of course, since there is no senior management, we did not receive a response. I called the “resort” several times thereafter, nearly always going to voicemail, and never received a return call. This place claims to be a luxury resort and they have the gall to charge over $1,000 per night, but the real nightly value would more appropriately fall between $100-$200.AmenitiesWe did not receive soap in the bathroom during the entire stay. I was told by an employee at the front desk that soap is imported from Italy and backordered, but there ought to be an easy interim solution (i.e. buy some dove bars from a pharmacy). We had to ask the manager of the restaurant, Sisi, for a bathroom soap dispenser, which if you think about it is not sanitary for private guests at the hotel. The bed in cottage 10 is excessively squeaky. If person is to shift their weight even slightly, there is creaking like an old ship at sea. This felt like a cheap motel bed, hardly reflective of EHP’s nightly cost.Beach passes were unavailable to us despite a specific advertisement that they are included as part of the room rate.Parts of the cottage were in disrepair. The toilet dispenser holder was broken and the roll wouldn’t stay on. Knobs on kitchen cabinets fell off and seemed decrepit.Housekeeping and CleanlinessThere was little evidence that housekeeping ever fixed our room. In fact, sometimes we would return to find the cottage blatantly disorganized from when we had left - we were extremely annoyed when we walked into the room on the last night and found the cleaning staff had moved our sons’ toys to the bathroom floor (!) and left them right in front of the toilet, of all places. This is careless and unsanitary. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned or organized in any way - at any other costly resort, bathroom items would be arranged, cords would be coiled, the place would be tidied and a feeling of comfort would pervade the experience. One night, we found a walkie talkie in our bedroom that was presumably left behind carelessly by someone on the cleaning staff. There were several other cleanliness issues in our cottage - bugs were ubiquitous, which is understandable in a forest on the water, but we found it to be to a disproportionate degree (i.e. ants were crawling on the kitchen counter near our sons’ washed bottles). There were dead bugs on window sills that weren’t picked up by housekeeping, dust everywhere, lack of trash receptacles or even plastic bags in trash cans. We weren’t provided with paper towels until our final night.Service and Front DeskThe front desk was unreachable despite multiple tries in person during day and night, and messages were left without any return call. There was a couple checking out when we left who were expressing similar dissatisfactions to the front desk staff, so these practices are clearly an adverse pattern rather than isolated events. With the state of the resort currently, we do not plan to return. A Holiday Inn would be more accommodating and more resort-like.

et me first start off by saying that it took approximately 2.5 months to truly allow the horrific experience we had during our stay at EHP to sink in. The Hamptons are “love” for us as we always take a sisterly trip to relax and reset alongside celebrating a July birthday. The year prior (exact same time of year), we had such an alluring experience at a REAL 5-star property in Amagansett that we should’ve circled back to however we were looking for a different ambiance and vibe - as the marketing of a marina and pool were a nice alternative. Being that East Hampton shuts down fairly early, it would’ve been nice to have an oasis to call our “home away from home” for our 3 night stay - it was totally the opposite. Leading up to the arrival should have been an indication of the type of service (or lack thereof) that we would have received for the duration of our trip. They have you fill out a from requesting time of arrival upon booking, but that means nothing as some gut feeling led us to proactively check as we would not be arriving until closer to 8pm (as we always like to stop in Southampton for one of our favorite dinner spots that doesn’t open until 5pm) - man, was this coordination a “surprise” and cluster. We asked if we would have assistance with bags, there was a chuckle and a response of “well, I will be here and will do what I can”. That same young lady indeed stayed until we checked-in and was semi-helpful with the bags to the best of her ability, however upon arriving to our Marina/Harbor view suite, she did not have the right key and left our bags in the torrential pouring rain under a tree while she drove back to the office to obtain the “correct key” (read further for why this is in quotes) - we were flabbergasted, yet were also left in the rain until her return. Upon getting into the suite, we had to sit our bags by the living room fireplace for hours to dry out. The next morning, we discovered that the master bedroom shower did not work nor did the master bedroom fireplace; thus having to shower in one of the guest rooms. We then go to depart for our 11am appointment at the winery and realize that the keys left by the front office the night prior DID NOT work, so we had to go out of our back door and lock ourselves out of our place in hopes for it to be corrected upon our return. Again, what a cluster! Outside of this, there was an attempt to book a yacht sail and upon entering the front office, the receptionist was on the phone mitigating a personal matter with no acknowledgement of our presence, so we figure out the yacht on our own (fast forward, this same receptionist gave the same energy upon checkout as if we weren’t guests at the property - that time, we did not back down from speaking our minds and she was just plain rude). It was at that point, that we decided to steer anyone we could away from this ultra expensive and overly rude establishment! The “new” management (Ruchi) attempted to step in during our stay with a failed maintenance mitigation, bottle of bubbly and minimal follow, but the issues did not stop - by the way, the bathroom was NEVER rectified and their poor attitudes were truly mouth-dropping. While EVERY single customer should be treated equally, we were blown that as customers that paid for the next to highest tier suite would feel so unwelcomed - it damn near tainted our view of the Hamptons! Save your money, agony and peace and stay clear of EHP - don’t let the “beauty” of the property fool you! Calling themselves a 5 star is beyond a joke!

Love everything here. The cottage 2 is lovely but would be nicer if there is a bathtub!

5 stars all around if you got the money. Cottages are all very amazingly kept and decorated. Fully equipped with full kitchen, and if you get the duplex types, 2 bathrooms and plenty of space for 2. We wish we have a small cottage exactly like this.Rooms: Perfect weekend room!

This place plays club music extremely loudly throughout the day and night in the summers ruining what would otherwise be a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood overlooking three mile harbor. I would not recommend staying here.Walkability: Cannot walk to anything. Not walkable!

This place could be so good, but service was very poor. The grounds and facilities were beautiful. It was nice and quiet while we were there during the week. As for the service, it wasn't bad, it was non-existent. When we arrived and went inside to check-in no one greeted us. Of the 3 people in the office, not one of them appeared to know what was going on so it took 3 of them to help us. We asked about the restaurant and were told it was closed during our stay. As it turns out when we came home from dinner one of the nights, it was actually open. So, we we weren't able to try it. It was definitely not the feel of a $1,000 per night resort. For this price I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Hopefully they turn it around. This place could be great.

Worst hotel experience ever especially for that price ($1,161) per night for one bedroom cottage on a Wednesday fresh paint but u can see old crack in bathroom, walls, faucets shaking refrigerator, door doesn’t close properly for that price you would at least expect someone to escort you to your cottage or take your bags, instead they give a piece of paper with a map highlighting directions. the deck furniture was disgusting not even clean no bath soap, 1 ply commercial toilet paper mini bar, ridiculous expensive!!! They are definitely over price compare with all the luxury hotel resort the Hamptons are known for!
