Decent bagels in the most unsanitary unfriendly environment of any eatery in the Hamptons. The owner addresses complaints with hostility about workers using bare hands to handle money and then make sandwiches or using the same gloves to handle money and touch food. The more you watch the more grossness reveals itself. Goldberg’s 5 minutes away has better bagels and actually follows health regulations.

In the past few months this place has gotten significantly worse. Inconsistently high prices that change depending on who rings up your order, the order is wrong more often than not because the people getting them often don't understand or can't read the text, and they often just include things you didn't order so they can charge more. Where is Bob? Get someone back in there that knows what they are doing.

Since I was young, I would always go to this place. Growing up with my mom she would always go there once a week to grab bagels for the house and I'm happy to say that 30 years later the people the bagels and the quality of service has never changed. Whenever I am home I look forward to swinging by and grabbing a bagel or two and saying hi to the owner who is very friendly.

Not good, dirty inside, and a rip off. Advertisement of "healthy breakfast for 8.99" vegeterian omelette is 3 eggs with brócoli mushroom tomato Munster served with butte bagel and 16 oz coffee. Um not it's actually there version of a veggie omelette which includes no cheese or broccoli. When checking out I asked if it comes with coffee and bagel and was told no. Then why advertise as such? Also super expensive for crap. Not for me and could do a much better job. Also can't even fill up your coffee cup completely because of how the dispenser is set up.

The guys that work at Hampton Bagel are real friendly. The place is really clean and they have a good variety of fresh bagels everyday. I ordered a egg & Lox sandwich with onions and cream cheese. I didn't like the egg and lox scrabbled and cooked together. I think the sandwich would of been better if the lox was placed on top of the egg. Next time, I will order it that way. The bagel was fresh.

EW!! I don't leave reviews - ever - and am very understanding of restaurants during this time, but have never witnessed such disgusting, unsanitary behavior in a food establishment, let alone during a global pandemic, and felt the need to warn others for fear they will sicken people. The guys who are working the cash register are also prepping sandwiches - doing both with their bare hands. I watched the guy handle my cash, go over and slice a bagel with his bare hands, spread on cream cheese, grab nova lox with his bare hands, and then tomato slices - also with bare hands and slap them on the bagel. When he saw I was watching, he pulled off the tomato and threw it away. Then he took another customer's credit card and did the same with another sandwich. You can also see right into their back room from the counter where they have all of their lettuce sitting right on top of industrial size containers of bleach. They had three people behind the grill, all with masks pulled down, grabbing food with their hands, and I was so grossed out that I just asked to speak with someone for my money back. The first person who came over to speak with me had his mask pulled down below his mouth with a huge trail of snot going all the way from his nose down to the mask. When they told me my food was about the be ready, I restated, kindly, that it wasn't the wait that I was leaving over, it was the unsanitary practices I was seeing. The owner came over to refund me and had the audacity to say I should order delivery next time if I didn't want to see what went on behind the counter. Nice.

There were several of employees not wearing mask or wearing them on their chin. Some handled money and the food with the same pair of gloves on. I went early in the morning and the floors were dirty. The only positive was that the lady who attended me was nice, professional, and wearing a mask properly.

It's a shame because this place was a staple for me growing up. Not only did the prices increase significantly in the last few years, they now also add a 4% service fee for card transactions (which is illegal with debit cards by the way). The bagel itself was tough and bland, which is an achievement for one of the most seasoned bagels (everything) and the amount of schmear (or lack there of) for the price is farrr too little. I'm glad I returned for one last time but it's a shame that this place has also gone to s*** =.
