Hands down the WORST place that we ever stayed in. Felt more like a motel than a hotel that you pay 995$ a night. The older woman that works at front desk was the weirdest human being ever. Not even she would forget things we asked about 5 minutes ago she would make drama over it and add extra delusion stuff. We asked to clean our room day before with time frame that gave them 4.5hours. Of course room was not cleaned. Then manager texted us he said she offer us room 32 suit to move in. She never did. Also breakfast that they tell it’s fresh it’s absolutely a lie. The food was disgusting! Juice not fresh, fruit was frozen and tasted like it was in the fridge for half year, eggs was burned with cheap oil and sausage also! I am sorry but plane food taste like 3* comparing to their breakfast. save your money and time and mood and stay at other place! I couldn’t wait to get out from there and move to other hotel! Also windows where broken and even with AC 78F and fireplace it was cold at night also you could hear any sounds from street.

I have traveled the world and stayed at thousands of beautiful hotels, resorts and even Palaces … the hospitality and warmth I experienced at Mill House Inn was special!I am not given to hyperbolic statements … but this place is a treasure! No matter what you need or ask they are there to serve and are so helpful … they know the Hamptons it’s traffic , it beat beaches … it spots for sun set or sun rise! The rooms are cute and very very clean !The food is great !Thank you Mill House Inn for being my home away from home !

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Mill House Inn. Travelling with our teenage daughter, so Suite Thirty-Two was perfect for us all to have space, and the outdoor deck was a great place to catch the morning or evening sun. The staff at MHI were especially helpful with local tips on what to see and do, as well as arranging restaurant bookings and parking at the beach. Thank you - we'll be back one day. Phil WRooms: Very comfortable and well furnished.Nearby activities: Nick & Tony's and most of the East Hampton restaurants/bars a short walk away - so no need for taxis after a nice meal and a bottle of wine.Walkability: Less than 5 mins into the village.Food & drinks: Great breakfast included.

We stayed for three nights at the Mill House Inn and it was an incredible vacation! The room was perfect for a romantic getaway. Room 7 has an amazing bathroom that makes you feel as if you’re in your own personal spa. Breakfast was also delicious and very generously portioned. We had incredible lobster rolls as well as more traditional breakfast fare. Great coffee and side dishes delivered right to your door!Dawn took care of our every need and provided excellent recommendations for where to eat and what to do in the Hamptons. She called ahead and made sure we would be taken care of at our restaurants of choice, too! The snack bar is a very nice amenity and the Inn’s overall vibe was extremely cozy and welcoming. We even spent some time in their back garden around the koi pond despite the cold weather. The location is very convenient; you can walk almost anywhere you might need to go, even to the beach! It was the perfect escape from the city. Thanks, Mill House! We’ll be back :)

The Mill House Inn is a nifty little Bed & Breakfast in the Hamptons. I had no idea the place was here until I got there because the reason I stayed there was that my phone died therefore I didn't know the train schedule until I got to East Hampton train station where I found out the next westbound train wasn't until seven something in the morning and at the time it was three something in the morning so I had nowhere to go for four hours unless I wanted to waste a ton of money on a cab back to Nassau county which I assume would have cost around $300, about the same price as the room. So I just happened to be walking by when I saw the place, knowing nothing about it (again, no phone) and to my astonishment I was able to just walk into the reception area with no one there because the doors were unlocked; I was half expecting to be arrested for trespassing but apparently people don't lock doors in the Hamptons. So I called the number that was posted at the front desk using their phone and got an answering service, who called the manager who showed up about 15 minutes later. At first he said he didn't have a room available but then he said he could "move some stuff around" and eventually said he could get me a room. I was required to show my Covid vaccination card to get a room so I was glad I decided to keep it in my wallet. Apparently the only room available was a suite and he decided to let me have it for the price of a regular room. So it was about 4:30 AM by the time I finally checked into the room and I only slept about 2 hours by the time it was time to check out at 11 AM. I then told them I wanted to stay another night and they told me they'd only charge me for one night since I checked in so late, so I wound up paying about $300 for a stay that was supposed to be over $1000. As far as the food goes (breakfast is included) I had French toast the first morning and a goat cheese omelet the second. Both were good, I had a very minor complaint about the fact that the fruit mixture served with the French toast was cold but they microwaved it and all was well. I would have liked to eat in the dining room and not in my room but the room was closed due to Covid worries. I also had a dried fruit cup each day that was very good and a cappuccino and Mexican (spiced) hot chocolate, also good. Because my room was a suite (Room 11) it had a living room area and a bedroom area, each with a TV and a couch and ottoman in the living room. I was glad they had bottles of shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body wash instead of those dumb little soaps that some hotels have. The shower had a regular shower head and one of those detachable hand-held shower heads, the second of which I did not use. The bathroom had a "room freshening spray" to cover up your poop scent if you were staying with another person but as I was alone I had no need for it, lol. In conclusion my stay was excellent with the exception of the 2 minor issues about the fruit mixture being cold and the dining room being closed, neither of which was enough to deter me from giving a 5 star review.

Mill House Inn is a charming property, ideally located just a short walk from the beautiful town of East Hampton. Upon arrival both Kenny & Dawn offer a warm welcome to ensure your stay is perfection. Nestled back along the tree line street of North Main it's beautiful landscape and views of the Windmill make for a perfect quiet escape. Sit on the front porch enjoying a iced tea while viewing locals walk by. The Mill House Inn delivers optimum privacy. Smartly designed expansive rooms, stylishly furnished, airy and feature everything you will need during your stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and sunken tub to relax in after a day at the beach. The Eucalyptus salts were a nice touch in the room. The bedrooms (offering different interior styles) and indoor outdoor living areas affords quiet, privacy while offering plenty of space for a family. All the luxuries are in the suites needed while having optimum privacy amongst the other guests. I would highly recommend this property for the couples discovering the island for the first time as there is no comparison having stayed at many of hotels in the Hamptons. Breakfast is served at requested appointed time directly to your door. Lobster Rolls, Blueberry Pancakes, Delicious vegetable omelette are amongst a delectable selection of choices. Coffee Hot with so many varieties around the globe. After sitting under the big blue Hampton Skies, bathed in sunlight all day long, it's a wonderful feeling to go back to Mill House Inn, feeling welcomed and relax before heading into town for a lovely dinner. Sylvia & Gary the proprietors have a special place when considering where to stay in the Hamptons.

The Mill House Inn is a Hamptons GEM! Understated elegance with a hip East Hampton vibe, this B & B delivered an exceptional experience for the perfect long weekend getaway. Fresh, delicious breakfasts (twin lobster rolls, amazing pancakes with just picked blueberries, incredible bacon with scrumptious omelettes) delivered to your room every morning, close proximity (walkable) to all shops and restaurants, clean and well appointed rooms and a warm, charming staff. Kenny (General Mgr.) and Dawn (Reception) were ultra accommodating and extremely customer service oriented with delightfully engaging personalities. DO NOT hesitate to book this wonderful B & B for your next Hamptons stay, you won't be disappointed. We can't wait to return!!!
