I drove to Shoe-inn because the last time I was in East Hampton I bought a pair of shoes at this store. I'm only here for a limited amount of time, and I wanted to replace the shoes with a new pair. I knew exactly what I wanted and I went online to make sure that they had them in stock in my size. I drove to the store and the girls inside closed early. Before 6pm, they refused to sell me the shoes I requested. It was 5:46. There were other people as well that wanted to shop. A nice couple that said that they knew the owners, and that they would be making a complaint as well. The three girls working inside were young and I could tell that they just wanted to close up early. This is unacceptable service. If they are open till 6 o'clock then they are open till 6 o'clock. The last two times I've shopped here I have to say that the service was not good either. So sad.

walked in all the staff sitting on the staircase and scattered like none other when walking in. shopping for wedding shoes they had 2 options and when i asked for a foot measure the shoe store said they don't have any and they'd go off the sizing of the shoes i was currently wearing......i've grown up here my entire life the brothers that used to have a shoe store in this exact building in the 80/90s are probably rolling over in their graves.. i know my size but i want to make sure i am ordering correctly who runs a shoe store without a foot measure!?! Shoe Inn has gone down the drains. what a joke if i could give this store zero wish i still had the owners number she would have been pissed back in the early 2000s when i worked there

If I could give this company a ZERO I would. I spent over $400 on 2 pairs of shoes ordered online. I KNEW they would fit because I had tried them on in the department stores previously. However, the pairs that were ordered from their website were sized completely differently. Like a wide vs. a regular. I contacted customer service for help. I have NEVER experience such rude responses. For your viewing pleasure.... "Thank you for contacting SHOE-INN. I am sorry you are disappointed with your purchase; we have not experienced any size concerns with the Aleena pumps and they are one of our best sellers! I would have looked into the situation if this was addressed in the two week time frame that we have for returns. I am sorry but being that these shoes were delivered over a month ago now, they are final sale. Please always contact us right away if you have any issues with your purchase. Thank you so much. Please let me know if there us anything else I can look into for you. Best, Kayla" "As you stated, you were aware that these shoes are a final sale. They are correctly sized and advertised, as we have been authorized retailers of Stuart Weitzman for over 20+ years. First off, all sales items are final sale and cannot be returned and we state that clearly, it is not up for interpretation. The reason we have a 14 day time restraint for Full Priced merchandise is that if customers hold on to items for long periods of time, it takes away the opportunity for us to sell the shoes. You have had the sale shoes for over a month and we are now in the process of removing our winter sale section as we change over to spring season so we have no opportunity to sell these. I would suggest taking them to a shoe repair shop if you are saying that they are now not fitting you properly and see if they could do anything to help. Have a great week, Charlie" For the record... it was a month since the shoes were ORDERED. Not like I was holding on to them for 6 months. AND they are sandals... so Charlie has no idea what he is talking about. This company is a complete disgrace and I will NEVER shop with them again.

I walked in to Easthampton Shoe Inn at 443 to purchase a pair of shoes I had already decided on, knowing they would carry them. As I quickly and quietly walked around the two girls that were standing at the register said nothing. Perhaps because they were too busy on their phones. While I found the shoe and picked it up to ask for my size, I was ignored. She plugged the vacuum in and began to vacuum right under my feet. The rug was 3x3 and when she was thru I asked what time they closed as another woman was trying to enter. One said "we are closed" while the other said "we close early to clean". The time was now 446... I walk over to the door, which was locked, which wasn't a problem because the other was standing by it to let me out.I have never seen or been apart of such appalling customer service. I highly recommend never walking thru those doors.

I agree the help in the West Hampton store was a joke! Returns for store credit only! The Corporate office said they would accept a return for refund the same day only! I tried returning after 1 day! I think I will take my business elsewhere!

Ridiculous return policy. I got a pair of shoes as a Christmas gift and they were too small. When I went to exchange with the email receipt, the process was surprisingly complicated and I was told AFTER the exchange that the sale was FINAL. When I expressed that I wished that information was communicated before I paid, the employee told me the store was "doing me a favor" since all returns/exchanges on discounted items are final (The person who bought the shoes originally as a gift had used a 20% promo code for Black Friday). First of all, I'm not sure WHY this should matter... especially since the shoes I bought in exchange were more expensive and no discount was applied to them. Secondly, who speaks to customers this way? Actually, I'm pretty sure I DID the store a favor by purchasing shoes and supporting their small boutique business rather than going to a department store. I would expect MUCH better customer service from a smaller (not to mention expensive) store. To call a sale on $200 shoes FINAL because of a Black Friday promo code applied to the original purchase, is RIDICULOUS, in my opinion. I will not be returning ever or recommending to anyone. Please read the return policy very carefully before making a purchase. You're much better off purchasing from a big retailer like Nordstrom's or Bloomingdale's where their value customers and make the return process easy and fair.

Terrible customer service. They charge $10 for shipping, and $10 for return. My invoice for Birkenstocks did not say "narrow,'' but that's what they sent. They refuse to allow me to talk to a supervisor. I'll go to competition like Zappos or Amazon -- wouldn't buy from these folks again.

Everyone was super nice and attentive and even suggested other locations. My mother and I walked in and the staff was very warm attentive and informative about their products. Definitely recommend! Enjoy!
