Went to a 7:30am class on 7/18 and I honestly thought the instructor was so rude and impatient with everyone in the class. I normally don't leave reviews at all, but having a testy instructor first thing in the morning sets a poor tone for both the workout and the rest of your day. I've been to SLT in Manhattan and didn't have a bad experience. Everyone raves about Taylor, so maybe her class would have been better, but I won't be returning to this location to find out.

Taylor is the best SLT instructor!!! 100% would recommend her class to anyone. She makes it challenging but yet suggests modifications to cater to both beginners and vets. I always feel great leaving her class!

Taylor is amazing! Even though I workout regularly, there's no substitute for SLT, and I've seen an improvement in my core strength after 8 classes.

Took my first SLT class with Taylor. Thought I wouldn’t be able to do it but she is the best! Encouraged me and walked me through everything. Taylor is the best. Her classes are great and she makes you feel good about yourself!

I can’t see how anyone can give anything other than 5 stars. I started a few weeks ago and I must say that I’m genuinely seeing and feeling a difference in my body. I’m always challenged and don’t feel like I’m wasting an hour of my life like I have at some other fitness studios (I’ve done them all…and I’m a former fitness instructor)The instructors impress me every time. I’ve taken classes by Taylor, Victoria, and Kristen, and their ability to manage the time, verbally explain what the moves are, and coach the class is SUPER impressive and motivating to me.

I showed up with my mother today to try SLT for the first time. When we came in, nobody was at the front desk so we weren't able to ask any questions. So the class begins and the instructor comes up to my mom to tell her that she needs to wear socks at slt but since it was our first time we didn't know that. We proceed to both buy socks and get back on the reformer machine. My mom and I do Pilates practically every day back in NYC so we had some idea of how to use this machine but obviously nowhere near as well as the other people in the class. Fifteen minutes into the class the instructor comes up to my mom again and asks if this is her first time at slt. When my mom said yes the instructor immediately had a disgusted face and proceed to tell my mom that we needed to leave. According to the instructor it's our responsibility to ask for a demo of the machine since it's our first time. In my opinion, I think she should've realized sooner it was our first class seeing as how we didn't come prepared, the socks. But instead she was extremely rude and basically kicked us out of the class. She told us to call her once the class was done (12:30pm) so we could get a refund but when my mom and I called at 12:32pm there was no answer. This place seriously needs to work on their staff's respect towards people. My mom and I were really looking forward to trying this but this instructor absolutely ruined it for us. Also I think this company should implement a first time check when you book because I even created an account but still nobody asked or told me anything.

I don't understand poor customer service and simply not basic understanding of communication.I purchased the incorrect package for the outdoor class. I emailed them immediately as I could not book because I did purchase the wrong package. The class I wanted to take was next day at 9:30 am and I bought the package at 4 pm the day before.The next day after class start time, so I did not even have a chance to upgrade, even though I indicated in my email which class I wanted to be in, they said I have a credit in my account. I asked for a refund as I am not able to take a class again, I left the Hamptons that afternoon, the service I bought is not even available due to Covid, and I will not use it as SLT is not open in city. Basic customer service. I bought the wrong one, I am leaving so I cannot use it plus you are not even open for indoor training for me to use it, please give me a refund.Nope, holding my money hostage...

Worst class EVER experienced with SLT! I have the NYC package and have hit majority of their studios but this particular one was terrible! They had no AC and was 90+ degrees in the studio with 100% humidity. There was no communication that their air broke down and no air flow in the class -- didn't even open a window (when it was 75 out) nor did they have any fans going. I would have booked a different class or taken a different workout if I would have known -- poor communication! Come on SLT you should do better!

Absolutely loved the class. Lucy was able to push me to work hard, while correcting my form and using positive encouragement. Would highly recommend! Thank you :)
