I recently rediscovered The Body Shop via zoom (all the way from California). Patia’s class is the perfect antidote to a stressful week. Her lifetime of experience and knowledge is evident as she calmly guides the class through a series of poses that detangle tight muscles. She leave space for the student to find their breadth/ to connect with the shape. As a result, I’d say, this class is accessible to all: Beginners to advanced practitioners are likely to gain something from the practice.I leave the class feeling lighter and more connected to my body. :)Highly recommend!!

I was hooked on the body shop after taking my first class. The classes are challenging while keeping me free from injury. Patia's many years of expertise and personal touch makes me feel as if I'm taking a one on one class. She is a teacher who knows exactly what works for each of her students. She provides individual instruction in a group setting and is always encouraging. Patia has created a warm and inviting space in which to work. I highly recommend the body shop. Namaste Susan

I have been a student at the Body Shop for over 30 years. Patia Cunningham is truly an inspiration and a master teacher. She is one of the rare yoga professionals who can make a class relevant to yogis at every level! She emphasizes practice that is personalized. Her knowledge of the body and what it needs never cease to amaze. I never stop growing and learning in my yoga practice at this very special studio. The space is truly spectacular and puts one in a calming state the moment you climb the stairs. I hope I can keep going for at least another 30 years!

Yoga at the Body Shop not only helped me recover my mobility after a bad ankle fracture, but now it's challenging me to know and use my body better than I ever have before. Fantastic teachers, nonjudgmental classes, healthy and relaxing atmosphere. Just wonderful!

This place is legit. The Yoga is less like a fast paced NYC studio (and the crowd is a little older) but it's the real deal sort of 'internal first' yoga. Bob's Friday night class has me leaving more relaxed than getting a GOOD massage and feeling stretched and great the next day too. Highly recommend.
