Annoying and useless staff. Overall the selection of what they have is OK but nowhere close to what they have listed online through the app. Prices are OK but they've got a bit of a monopoly considering the only big grocer in the area unless you're willing to spend more at citarella

Be sure to check expiration dates on packaged food! I bought a baby food pouch on 6/20/23 and when I came home I noticed that the expiration date was in September of 2022! I went back to the store ( they had one more of these pouches left on the shelf) and when I pointed it out to the manager she just told me she had no idea how this happened. The pouch had expired almost over a year ago! Never coming back

OK went to Stop & Shop today and to my surprise they got better heavier bags with handles maybe they read my review don't mind paying five cents for a bag but the bags are so thin they don't even last you till you get to the car The IGA always double bags and they charge me for one bag And the bag itself is a lot heavier than the bags at the Stop & Shop So I went to Stop & Shop this morning, bought a few things and when i showed the check out girl how thin the bag was she said okay and double bagged it, and then I was she charged me for two bags, something that IGA never does I guess they need to get as much money out of us as they can

I shop there quite often, and I can't believe how little most of the workers there care. The customer service desk is almost always closed, which is annoying and the cashiers especially at the self check out, are rude. I usually wind up leaving and going to IGA where I can get what I'm looking for and they aren't rude.

Always closed and not reliable even though it's in a supermarket. Says open at 10am but never open at 10am goes inside at 4.15 pm and says it close don't know who is at fault but qhen it comes to time and hours its not consistent but the attendees are ver nice.

So this is more of an employee/manager review. The customer service is closed on Sunday so I'm reviewing on Yelp. This is the store I shop at day after day. It's close it's convenient and I know a lot of people that work here. My complaint number one is one particular manager. Her behavior towards the employees has bothered me for quite sometime. She treats people horrible. I know many of them but last night set me off after she treated another employee that was trying to help me, bad and turned around and got nasty with me. Ive been at checkout and she has screamed at staff and been degrading! I for one don't have to put with it. I realize they have a policy but my 17 year old daughter bought eggs. I was with her but we didn't check them I as well Bought eggs but I checked my date and the eggs inside due to many broken in the passed that I didn't check. My daughter told me the eggs were rotten and all broken. The next night I went in town and realized I forgot the receipt but figured I would stop in and ask if I could replace those eggs. At checkout the nice employee said I had to go to customer care and speak to the manager. After checkout I went to the back of the customer service line to wait and the employee came and told me to come and he would ask her. I went to the front and he looked concerned but asked her if we could get eggs for me they were all broken. She looks at me looks at him and says in that degrading voice. What do you want me to do about it? I can't do anything. You got the the receipt? You got the eggs, you got proof there is no proof. We don't sell broken eggs here. Really? Now your talking to me like that! So I said I've gotten plenty of broken eggs here! The employee told me to come and he was whispering to me just it bring the receipt in. I told him she isn't nice and he just shook his head. Long story short I wasn't leaving the store until I spoke to someone about her behavior. I found another manager who is very nice always is and told her the circumstances and she told me to take the eggs I thanked her and told her I would bring the eggs back and receipt so she could see. Not only have I gotten broken eggs I've gotten opened cheese opened salsa. Stuff that wasn't fresh and expired. Most of the employees are amazing but this manager has bothered me for quite sometime with her degrading way she speaks to staff. People look scared to say anything to her especially staff and I told someone she isn't nice and they said no she isn't. What year is this shouldn't people be treated halfway decent especially the staff. But when she decided to use her attitude on me I don't have to put up with it ever. It sucks cause I will continue to shop here but I don't want to see her nastiness around me. Oh and by the way the eggs were expired. My daughter didn't check the date I'll put a picture.

Never coming back to this store, crowded narrow aisles which is not good in the Covid-19 age. Fruit looks atrocious, the place is filthy, staff is rude and condescending. All in all a horrible shopping experience.Also want to mention that I asked the cashier if she could help me put the packages in the cart; she said it was not part of her job to do that, even though I told her I was 75 years old. She could have attempted to get someone else to help, but no,no humanity in this person, or any of the staff for that matter working in this filth of a store. Where do they find these people.At Whole Foods in Manhattan, the cashiers are only too happy to be of help, I don't even have to ask, and Whole Foods is clean beyond belief, has an incredible fish department that rivals Citarella, organic produce far cheaper, and of course a far wider selection. And the staff can't do enough for me.Have no idea how the people in this rich town as I am constantly reminded of this could allow this nightmare of a store to exist. The Attorney General should be notified. The filth alone justifies closing it.

Terrible Stire, staff is rude, not accommodating, mangers are obnoxious, merchandise is overpriced, please please avoid going this store if you are traveling in the East Hampton!!

The WORST staff i have ever encountered all seem to work at this store. The store itself is decent and priced well but the staff are so unhelpful and rude that I only go here in a pinch and would rather drive the extra few minutes to King Kullen in Bridgehampton. On one occasion the deli staff refused to cut thin sliced ham as her shoulder would hurt (really!). Upon my next visit I just avoided it and got some pre-sliced deli ham from the fridge only to find 1lb of ham to be 11 slices. Oh- and never ask staff if they stock something as they usually just say they don't have it. The attitude of the staff needs to change.
