CVS at 2419 Hempstead Tnpke in East Meadow NY may be short staffed but the staff like Oscar and Nahari are excellent and helpful.

This is one of the most unprofessional pharmacies I’ve ever been too. They don’t have the first clue about customer service or empathy for their customer. A pharmacy is supposed to prioritize people’s health, but this place is strictly about business. The pharmacy manager Christine Z is the most disrespectful person and has no business managing a pharmacy. Save yourself the aggravation and take you business to a pharmacy that will actually prioritize your health.

I’ll start with this, just go to Walmart. I’ve had to walk out of this store several times due to items being locked and no employees available to unlock after pressing the button and waiting 15+ mins. I need an employee for even simple items like press on nails or face wash, it’s ridiculous. They need someone standing in every isle at this point to help customers, but only have one worker who is nowhere to be found half the time. The most inconvenient cvs, they also only provide pharmacy paper bags at self checkout. Come here for a birthday card, it’s the only thing not locked and will fit in the smallest paper bags they provide.

This is by far the WORST in customer service. They do not care about patients. They do not provide any courtesy in advising patients when they are closing for lunch. Most pharmacies have staggered hours to ensure customers are taken care of and do not just close their protective screen/gates on customers who were waiting on line. Shame on you!!!

Thank you so much pharmacist Yuliya and your team. I appreciate you guys for the way helped me. Yesterday I went to this CVS location because suddenly my original pharmacy, Walgreens, said they are not taking my insurance anymore. When Yuliya heard that my medicine ran out, she tried her best to help me and she made it possible. I am very grateful for her support. She is an amazing, sweet, young lady who is very professional, helpful, friendly, caring, as well as patient.

Michelle was very helpful in assisting me to find the products I was looking for and answered any questions about prices and discounts. She was very sweet and patient throughout the whole time. It was a pleasant experience.

There seems to always be a problem with the pharmacy at this location. I never had as much problem with the Walgreens across the street. I'm sad they closed down, and it's the reason why I started coming to this location. The pharmacy team usually has a bad attitude as if you are taking time away from them, and being a pharmacist is not their damn job. You could never get a hold of anyone on the phone and only want you to do everything AI or the app. They always seem to have a problem filling my stepson's prescription, which are urgently important for him, and he needs to take every single day. How does a person have refills and constantly need a new prescription? I'm so fed up with this place and need to find a new location as soon as possible and do not recommend this location to anyone. The people in this place need training on customer support and communication.
