The new mobile banking platform only allows one joint owner to handle the account so you have to share a login and only that one phone can get the code. "Hi honey, I know you are in the middle of a business meeting but can you give me the code on your phone from the bank again?" Welcome to the 1940s again. Also they keep restricting how much you can spend on point of sale transactions. Don't go shopping too much, you can only spend $1500 of your own money each day. They need to learn they are a bank, not a parent.

This place no longer feels like a credit union! Go somewhere else. I have. They charge for everything now. You can't get anyone on the phone. I had an account there for 30 years and they are no longer a good place to bank.

My fiance and I just took out our mortgage with Josh Krisch from NFCU and we had such a positive expereince! The whole process was seamless and Josh was readily available with any questions/concerns we had. We also were able to lock in at such a low rate! Thank you NFCU!

My wife passed away in June of 2019. My sons are the beneficiaries on her account. And I certainly agree with security. However, one son lives out of state and another works construction on bridges. They have still not received the balance of the monies due from her account. Apparently a form is missing and NO ONE has ever reached out to pass this information along. Spoke with the Branch Manager of their headquarters branch in East Meadow NY. Rude and arrogant. When asked to speak with his superior 9(and really - just about anyone would be superior to him) I was told that Oh! She's on Vacation. When asked for her phone number it would not be supplied, only an email address. Once my first son filled out the paperwork to receive his half of the funds - the bank stopped paying interest on the funds in the account. Neither would they send my son his share of the money in the account until they receive the missing document from the other son. No one from the bank ever reached out after almost year to advise anything was missing. Worst financial institution we have ever dealt with. Incompetent and rude. Do not even deserve a single star. I guess they are allowed that since they have spelled their name correctly.

I have a 768 Credit score and have been denied credit twice by this institution. I have no debt and make a good salary. When I asked The managers John Wang and his supervisor Jenya v.p. of lending why were they unable to grant credit to me they only answer I was given is I didn't meet their policy requirements. Meanwhile every other institution I have ever requested credit from has given me exactly what I wanted, no questions asked. I seems as though NFFCU is practicing discriminatory lending.

I love the bank and all the different banking needs they offer. The only problem that I have with this bank is the fact you can never speak to anyone in the branches. The only number that is offered online and the back of the card is \\\"Call 24\\\" which is hard to speak to a person. I wish they would do like the other banks and be able to speak to someone in the branch. So with that being said this causes you to now go into the branch but \\\"Call24\\\" is suppose to handle all of you're banking needs.

This is the worst bank around. First, they did away with face to face tellers. Then they moved to a location with horrendous parking. Then they close for months on end due to "unforeseen circumstances" ie COVID. They forced us to stand outside in the rain while all other banks were fully open. Now they force you to use a coin machine that charges 5%+ and won't take rolled coins. So you can't bring rolled coins in and they force you to pay 5% to use their machine. I'm done with this place

Having been client for many years, I did not expect service to diminish as it has.Branch availability was almost none existant at a point. With East Meadow now being my access, which is totally inconvenient, I found Video teller service to be fantastic. But being overly confronted today about absence of mask was too much. Once is enough !!!This compounded with many more issues has me searching for new banking institution. Way to go ..... years of satisfaction destroyed in weeks !!I recommend going elsewhere!!

The phone system is terrible. When you call and you press 0 it disconnects the call. When you press the option to talk to someone it takes you somewhere else. Who designed this system ? I would rate -5 if I could.

Called today. Girl answered the phone and refused to help me regarding a total loss and stated all requests need to be through fax. She hung up the phone on me when questions started to become difficult
