Female Teller with the dark brown/black hair is beyond obnoxious, consistently, every time. (She's usually the last teller on the far right, when viewed from inside the branch.) Today I was in the drive through line over 20 minutes (yes, that's correct, with 3 cars in front of me & full parking lot I knew it would be a bit long but this line hardly moved). Anyway, she won't take my cash card to make a cash deposit which I normally give. She's rude whenever you ask a question, she won't provide any information or explanation, just repeats herself in an obnoxious tone ("You have to...."). When I tell her, I have my license handy let me get it please don't take another customer - I grab my license & turn around & she ALREADY HAS WALKED AWAY & CALLED ANOTHER CUSTOMER! I press the call button which she of course ignores. I get out & start looking through the glass to see if there's still a line, there's no one at all there except Rude Teller & the other customer. The other teller (female, lighter brown long hair) is gone - even though there's a line in the drive through & it's late in the day, so it can't be her lunch break. No one is looking outside to see if there's a line. Then a man inside sees me & walks up & I explain the situation, at least he is nice & sympathetic gets it done. The whole torture session took over 30 minutes. Just for a simple deposit in the drive through, in 2022 when hardly anyone goes to banks. To anyone in customer service: Want to know why people are so irritated & hard to deal with these days? It's because of the way companies, and individual employees, are treating them. Robots answering the customer service line, unsympathetic employees who talk at you like robots & blatantly ignore your questions, we all know the issues. Not Chase's fault for this rule, but am I the only one who sees what's wrong with the average American not being able to deposit even $1 into their own bank account without showing ID (why are we all suspected of being in the drug cartel at ALL times & guilty until proven innocent on a daily basis), while Governor Cuomo makes a rule allowing people here ILLEGALLY to get driver's licenses & our borders are complete chaos?
