Nybc is saving dogs that would otherwise be abused thrown away or euthanized There are very few people out there in rescue that are rehabilitating pitbull’s NYBC will not give up or let down any dogs that come through the rescue even if they are there for years waiting to be adopted . This kind of commitment speaks volumes. There are not many rescues like NYBC out there . They are taking dogs that nobody wants and never giving up the hope that these dogs will have a second chance at a good life . I have personally seen the owner care for dogs that were undoubtedly never going to be adopted as if they were his own . Saving lives of the voiceless and most misunderstood is all that matters here.

I first saw the work of The Bully Crew when they rescued a dog just before Christmas in 2017. The dog was estimated to be 10 years old, had his mouth taped and was thrown out in a plastic bag and tossed into a Brooklyn dumpster. He was named St. Vincent. Since then my daughter has been a dog-walker and my husband has been a dog-transporter. He brings dogs that are flown to The Bully Crew to the airport from out-of-the-country locations, police precincts, out-of-state pick-ups and adoptions and veterinary appointments. Our family fostered a dog that was recued from a high-kill shelter that was scheduled for euthanasia. It is extremely rewarding to help an animal that many people may overlook. Please consider volunteering for this wonderful rescue!

Do not rescue from them. We did and wound up with a senior with oral cancer. There vet is a quack and the should have their 501c revoked. I have already put in a complaint to the Whistleblower office but investigating takes time. Stay away from them

I began following NYBC while I was living in Los Angeles. I moved to Long Island and reached out to them in regard to volunteering. Fast forward and I adopted the MOST AMAZING dog in the world. The adoption process was painless (unlike some rescues) with absolutely no pressure. Craig said if I was more comfortable fostering to see how Ruby did with my own dog that that was fine. I really appreciated that. I had tube feeding experience from fostering kittens so when two newborn Cane Corso puppies with cleft palates needed to be tube fed I offered. Craig was so hands on, checking in with me, stopping by my house to see how the puppies were doing. Anything I needed, he was always accessible. His love of dogs is palpable. His heart knows no bounds. A rare and amazing individual. New York Billy Crew is the real deal.

I adopted a dog from them in Sept. 2022. I had no issues at all. I filled out an application on Thursday night and by Friday morning they were calling me up to do a home check and schedule a time to go meet the little guy. I had another dog so we had to do a meet & greet. They got along great and they said are you ready to take him home with you today, and I did. The dog I adopted had back problems from the time they got him from FL, but Craig told me the rescue would help out with any of his problems with his back, and he's kept his word. I've had to take him to their vet a few times for follow-up visits, along with my own vet. My vet & theirs (animal surgical center) both agreed he would do well with rehab. They did some fund raising for him and we did 4 weeks of physical therapy & acupuncture and now he's better than ever. Off all his meds and doing really good. I'd definitely get another dog from them, and especially that they helped out with getting him the medical care he needed. Craig and the staff were awesome, I couldn't be happier.

I am trying to save an older Pit from being euthanized and Nybc was the first Pit Rescue I found that I thought could help based on what their website eluded to specific to “Dire Need”. The Pit’s owner recently passed away as did his littermate and the family cannot find anyone to take him. The owner’s son has been feeding him but he’s left alone all day in a vacant house that is being sold and the son will be putting this poor boy down if he doesn’t find a home. I’ve sent numerous emails and even sent photos so they could see him……not even a reply. I’ve sent 3 emails and still nothing; not even a referral. I have 2 rescues of my own and never have I contacted a Rescue and not received a reply. A one minute reply saying you have no room or you don’t take in older dogs…..anything to show you care and have compassion for all animals not just the ones that are puppies or cute younger animals or those that come from family or friends. So disappointed in a company that calls itself a Rescue. Maybe you should make some changes to your website as it doesn’t represent who you are!! I consider my situation one of “Dire Need” to keep this boy from being euthanized.

First let me apologize to NYBC, I jumped to a conclusion before taking into consideration the reason I may not have gotten a response.
I wrote my review out of frustration. Out of heartache and pain. I didn't consider NYBC may be swamped or have other tasks being worked on.
NYBC, I do sincerely apologize.
?
**I have called, left messages, FB messaged, Instagram messaged, emailed and nothing.
What good is a pitbull rescue if they refuse to answer questions.
Or help in emergency situations?
Seems like a scam or fraudulent organization.
I'm trying to save my bully, not PTS, but seems like that is my only option.
Rediculous**

They have many beautiful, loving dogs that need a home. They helped me find a home for my puppy. I walked a few of their dogs and they were so happy to stretch their legs. They allow you to walk a few of the dogs! Will def be back with more people to walk the dogs. I am so grateful for them.

I hate having to do this since I am a huge advocate for animal rights, safety and overall welfare. However, I called Bully Crew 2xs, left messages for Carol and John, I emailed several times and did not get any response. I was, and still am, extremely concerned about the welfare of a pit bull and wanted to see if the Bully Crew could help, and if not, if they could recommend someone. I'm super disappointed and would not recommend anyone deal with them, unless they are looking to be frustrated and ignored. Who knows how the dog i was concerned about ended up.... I can only imagine and it hurts my heart to think about.

They are the best. We adopted our baby girl from them in 2016, and are looking to adopt again. They are amazing to deal with and have saved so many pup lives!
