Wish I could give 0 stars. If you love your horse, don’t bring them there.

I can't recommend a nicer facility in the area. The indoor is amazing. It's a great size, regularly dragged, and has beautiful natural light and a nice breeze and if you use the lights, incredibly well lit. There are wooded trails as well as fields and a service road to drive or ride down that are truly beautiful and really make you happy that you have a horse to share the experience with. There is also an outdoor ring a short little ride away from the barn that is also regularly dragged and has great footing for driving or riding. The barn itself is always immaculate, I have a really hard time even reading the other reviews because I've been here for almost 2 years and it has honestly been the nicest barn I've ever been in and I used to attend one of the most well-known equestrian colleges in New York State and the level of cleanliness and care that Debbie and Greg work towards for their own place equals that. They treat me and my horse incredibly well. He is a mini and they accommodated him greatly when we first arrived by adding to their fencing and building him a door that he can see out of, and regularly ask if I am happy with his weight as they are knowledgeable enough to know that these guys can have weight issues pretty easily. They are quick to answer any questions and always make sure to greet with a smile. I always feel welcome here. I feel like they truly care about my horse and I deeply appreciate that. The stalls always have fresh shavings, clean buckets, and are cleaned regularly. The barn aisle is always clean, the wash stall is always ready to be used, with a well lit overhead light, water, and vacuum ready, and the tack room is always welcoming and tidy. The stalls are 12x12 so they are actually nice for larger horses and pretty graciously sized for ponies, and is practically a condo for my mini.It is quiet and enjoyable for me because a lot of places don't know how to handle a mini, let alone a mini that drives -- so I also have to mention that it is incredibly easy to store my cart there and they also have very handy lockers to put other equipment in. I really can't say enough about this place as it is really a place I wish I could have as my own and I've never had to worry about my horse, I always know he's in good hands.

****If you love your horse, do yourself a favor and stay away from this farm.****I would not recommend this barn, I have kept a horse here in the past and everything written in the other one star post are correct. Owners are rude, smell of alcohol and when you are a paying customer you should be treated with respect.

****If you love your horse, do yourself a favor and stay away from this farm.****This farm has gone downhill from how anyone else describes it or how photos show. The property is barely maintained - grass, weeds. I couldn’t even find paddocks to see where horses would have room to go out. You can find fences, but horses would get lost in the weeds and unmowed grass. The husband is nice enough, but he wouldn’t dare do anything to mess with his wife because she runs the operation. Not to mention she’s a RAGING ALCOHOLIC. My horse was only there for a week before we were frightened for his safety and had him moved ASAP by friends in the area. The stalls are too small for any horse besides ponies or small-boned breeds. They have acres and acres of land but most of it isn’t even for the horses. The owner herself has several show horses but her husband says she neglects caring for them now because she does not care. If she can’t care for her own, how would she care for yours? There is no lesson or training operation to speak of. The farm is practically deserted once you drive through the gates. There is only one other boarder that I saw and they were not friendly and turned an obvious blind eye to all of the issues. No one rides from what I saw because the rings look untouched in years.

I absolutely love this farm and the owners. All horses receive excellent care. The facilities are beautiful. Horses are safe and comfortable. The indoor riding arena is spacious and your horse is promised their ideal turnout. This is a quiet and enjoyable environment where you will be able to enjoy your horse, and riding, to the fullest.

Where to start... apparently my thoroughbred was too big and too much to handle. I came in once to find the owners husband trying to put his halter on to take him outside, yelling and running out of the stall, saying he is trying to kick him. My horse is very sweet and gentle by nature. A 4 year old has ridden him on trail rides. The woman who owns it is a drinker. More than half the conversations I had with her I could smell it on her breath, and it showed in her actions. I came in to find a horse shoe with nails still in it wrapped around my horses ankle. When I asked why, I was told "he is kicking the wall". You'd think she'd address the owner about this before taking control herself. When I asked her not to put it on his ankle again; that I would invest in kicking chains if I had to... I came in the next day to find it on his ankle AGAIN! And when I started taking the shoe home with me so it wouldn't happen a third time, I got yelled at. Not to mention cornered and called many names for standing up for the safety of my horse. Then, the vet was called out to take tests on my horse, without my permission. I received a vet bill stating I owed over $200 for fecal and blood work that I hadn't ordered, and when I contacted the vet, she said the owner of the stable had called it in saying I wanted it!I was outraged and left that week. And when my mother and I tried to call to notify them we would be leaving, we got told to "never call there" and hung up on. I had to go there twice a day the last few days he was there, to be sure he was getting cared for correctly and not neglected because of whatever their issues were that were going on. Not professional at all. Not to mention very quick tempered with the kids. "You're doing it wrong. Pay attention." When they would be learning to brush or ride the horse.Nice facility, run by crazy people.
