We never knew this place existed but awesome find. Here tonight to support a friend in their open mic night. Parking was easy. Heard they have an amazing patio in Summer. Sitting in a U shaped booth with 2 others and 5 others in the U shaped booth across from us. ? Mikey was our host and server which was top notch...He made the evening with his service. 5 stars for sevice! He also had a female server who assisted our table that was great too.Clean & friendly neighborhood spot and we would be back again! Family friendly, even a diaper changing table. Very Texan Roadhouse I guess? I could see how it is cafe by day with bar and a local bar w food at night....like tonight. The front entrance was not handicap accessible but there might have been other other entrances because I saw walkers, canes, and crutches tonight. The front was a little narrow, steps and you go through 2 doors. There was one fruit fly or fly at our table and the you have to hold toilet handle for a solid flush. I came in to an unflushed toilet, and when I tried..had to flush twice.I usually give 4 stars as my usual highest review because I believe every venue has room to improve and I have only had one experience here. The menu had many various options. There was a Gluten Free Bun and also Veggie burger option too. I had a brisket slider with Swiss cheese. The menu says it is $1 to add cheese but I was charged $2. Ordered the special Pumpkin Marinara Penne alla Vidka w/Spinach which was good but maybe just me but I did not taste much pumpkin. A friends tasted and said everything was kind of bland. One ordered Flounder and the other ordered Mac & Cheese w pulled pork. I threw in an order of Pecan pie but didn't realize the ice cream wasn't served with it ? but I was only able to have one bite, and i ate the ice cream. We all loved the whipped cream! ? 3 of us...not drinking alcohol. Ginger ale, coffee, water. Everything was itemized clearly on receipt. Our Bill was $108 before tax. If anyone needed to know there is 3% surcharge to use credit card which added almost $4. I believe has become standard practice for restaurants since Covid and it is written on the menu. There is a $3 per plate share charge. $120.84 was our bill... so we spent $145 total which I think is high for what we got but not complaining. We had fun and everyone was kind. Happy Holidays. Thanks for your service!Like I said..we would be back but I would probably stick with Texas ribs or wings and fries.Kid-friendliness: Chicken fingers...child drawings on wall...and diaper changing table.

Very homey place with friendly staff, good food and decent prices. Had the brisket hash which was tasty and the special banana nut pancakes which hit the pot.

Well the coffee is pretty good for Saturday brunch, the wait staff was attentive and very nice...if you are thinking about breakfast stay home and cook you'll be glad you did...bacon & eggs, bacon burnt asked for replacement came undercooked advertised as thick country bacon not sure what country it came in from...biscuits and gravy, not having been raised on b&g have only a few times to compare best (5) to never ever again (0) this did not make the cut line to be rated! Sunny side eggs good, breakfast potatoes ok, no toast included. Wife had pancakes awful! With tip $57! No special drinks! Next time cook breakfast at home or drive thru Mickie D'S...you'll have more money in your pocket and a lot less heartburn and regret! Nice coffee nice staff...

wait staff was ok and fairly attentive. music was good, but loud when seated near them, so hard to talk and hear each other, most importantly the food was real bad. steaks overcooked, chicken was terrible, and most of us did not finish or even eat our meals. drinks watery, and they charge an additional 3% to use a credit card, and don't tell you until you get the bill. do not recommend

Great vibe. This place is welcoming and laid back - an easy place to enjoy a nice dinner or just have a few drinks at the bar. The food is good, not great, but staff are responsive and super friendly. Bonus: live music!

The food is absolute slop and overpriced to boot. My brisket sandwich was gross and the sauce was not even close to a bbq sauce. More like a salsa with sugar added. I'll give it one star for the nice serenade from the country singer.

The food was subpar with the combination kabob being 38 dollars with it having a 5 oz piece of meat, 3 little shrimps on the kebab with oversized vegetables half grilled, 2 small pieces of chicken and un seasoned boiled vegetables. Over all the food was trash for the amount of money you are spending, I do not recommend getting anything that Mexican there. I would eat Taco Bell and call that Mexican food before I eat here again.

Food was great. Fish taco, and shrimp taco were very tasty. Also had a side of chips, and salsa that were homemade. Will definitely eat here more often.

Place is a great spot. Staff is great, owners are awesome and the food is ALWAYS GOOD! Breakfast/Brunch on Saturday and Sunday mornings also, so you gotta check out The New Moon Cafe and find out "WHERE THE HELL IS EAST QUOGUE"
