I never write reviews but Murat's professionalism and timeliness are worth the time to compliment his business. I recently used Murat for two projects while renovating my home. He delivered both projects right on time. The slipcovers that he made for our chairs are gorgeous as is are the cushions for our window seat. I would recommend him to anyone and will use him again.

Murat of Superior Upholstery is a true artist. I am an Interior Designer who worked from Texas to get a number of items done for a new home in East Hampton. We had chairs to upholster, benches to cover, custom window cushions to be made, pillows, custom chair cushions, you name it. Murat was extremely organized and did a wonderful job with all of it. I cannot recommend him enough. I feel lucky that we chose him to do all of the work!

I reupholstered all my living room furniture...couches, chairs and cushions were recovered. I chose Murat because he was local and reasonable. He delivered quality workmanship in 6 weeks. I also purchased some of the fabric from him and it was very reasonably priced. I am already planning my next project- kitchen chair cushions.

Murat replaced a large quantity of cushions for my outdoor furniture. There was a large variety of unusual shapes and he was able to replicate my old cushions exactly. His labor charge was reasonable and the fabric was considerably less than I what I was quoted at fabric stores. He was pleasant to deal with and always responded quickly to my communications. I highly recommend him and will use him again for other projects.

I have worked with other upholsterers before but Murat is by far the best. I was looking to have my 15 year old shabby chic Carol Hicks Bolton/EJ Victor couches updated because they were so comfy for a beach house. Murat made them look and feel better than the day I got them. Elegant, rich and "beachy chic". Ebony chairs I previously had upholstered by someone else.....looked completely different and better made when he finished them. Without even mentioning, he reinforces & restuffs in a manner that looks better than originally done by the manufacturer? He also made the process so easy in that he really had a very nice selection of fabrics on premise (Kravet etc) to choose from. My apt is near D&D building but I didn't have to bother! I chose beautiful fabrics on sight, he got back immediately with a reasonable quote, picked up furniture days later and finished the work right on time. His craftsmanship and professionalism is truly "Superior".

We reached out to Murat based on the reviews and that he was nearby in East Quogue (we are in Remsenburg). We had an easy chair that we loved but that had been ruined by our late dog. We brought it over about 5 weeks ago and worked with him to choose a fabric. He also agree to restuff the back cushion that had been damaged by kids sitting on it. We liked the fabric choices and the pricing was fair. He completed the chair in the time he estimated (actually a week early but we were not out here to pick it up). It is like new and looks great in our family room. I highly recommend Murat and Superior Upholstery for you upholstery needs.
