Great customer service and atmosphere. It feels very cozy :) we only liked the carne asada street tacos and rice was very good. Unfortunately other dishes were poor on flavor, not bad but it needs more flavor. The guacamole was only avocado nothing in it.In respond to owner,Maybe the guacamole needs a lot more portions of everything you mention. We didn’t tasted or see it.

Fantastic food and beverages. Reminds me of my time in So. Cal. I love the kids menu, it has creativity and isn't boring!

It's a nice little place, the customer service was great, but I wasn't too thrilled with the vegetarian enchiladas which absolutely had no sauce on it, very little cheese if any and only on the top not inside. The corn tortillas weren't cooked, they were just dry and the rice was just white steamed rice and there was no Mexican rice and the beans were black beans, which I was hoping for refried beans which is more authentic, from my experience. Most Mexican restaurants give you free chips and salsa with your order (hands down) but margarita charges 7+It's a bit disappointing, but it is what it is .If you really want authentic Mexican food go to a little hole in the all in sodus point off old ridge called El Rincon, it's amazing and the son has a similar one in canandaigua....I'll definitely be back to margaritas, but I'll have to try something else next time ?It was good, but it wasn't exactly authentic Mexican food, not from what I'm used to living in California and in Tennessee

Paloma was very good, not too sweet. Food was a good portion for the price and the queso was amazing! The tables are a little squished in the dining area, the servers kept bumping into my chair when they were serving other tables. But a good atmosphere and very friendly staff, will be back.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in all of Rochester. It’s worth trying.

Came in with a friend on a Thursday evening. We were seated in the bar area at the high top tables. After sitting for a moment, we noticed/heard a gaggle of women at the bar being very loud. We were also sitting under a speaker and the music was blasting. I asked the waitress if they could turn it down a bit, and got a look like "are you kidding?" And then said no and walked away. The noise of the women talking and the overhead music made it so we could not even carry on a conversation. We placed our drink orders, hoping the bar crowd would settle down and the loud music was just that song and asked for chips & salsa. We were told they are not provided but can be purchased. She recommended the queso, guacamole, salsa combo for $15. We ordered the salsa and chips combo for $5, as that was what we originally requested. It was strange to be in a Mexican restaurant and not be offered these on the house! The chips and salsa trio was quickly brought to the table. The salsas (3) were tasty and were mild, medium & hot as described. The chips were thick, cold and somewhat stale. Finally, we placed our orders, and my friend asked if pork could be substituted for the chicken in the enchiladas and was told they do not make modifications to their menu. Then I ordered and requested refried beans and was told they are not available. I made the comment, "this is a mexican restaurant and no refried beans?" The waitress asked if she should get the manager. I asked her what for and she said because I didn't seem happy. I stated I was wanting refried beans, and asked if the manager would be able to provide them. She said no, and I asked why I would want the manager then! The waitress wanted to pass a customer on rather than deal with their disappointment which could have been handled with an "I'm sorry" and perhaps an explanation of why the refried beans are not offered. I couldn't be the only customer who came into this mexican restaurant and requested refried beans, could I? The whole experience was surreal. They do not accommodate requests or modifications to their menu!. The push to upsell the "appetizers" was unappreciated as well. The enchiladas (3) were very tasty, however they were accompanied by WHITE rice and black beans, (that tasted like they came out of a can), and both with the absence of seasoning. Needless to say, we were not pleased with our experience or dinner selections. Putting an avacado and a margarita on a sign does not make this a Mexican restaurant, and certainly not authentic as proclaimed. Staff arrogant, food policy is rigid, food underwhelming, ambience in the dining area very cafeteria like, equivalent to a sit down Chipotle with a bar! Needless to say, won't be going back.

I've been here a few times and found it a little unpredictable. Since i enjoy the interior, i like going here. Let me say the Golden Margarita IS the drink to get. I had the street tacos with the popular chicken choice and was underwhelmed. I also have had the pork al pastor, which I thought was delicious. So experiment a little and see what you like.

My nachos were a little blackened around the edges but it was a large enough portion that I just ate the inside. I asked for them to turn the fan off because I was chilly and they did- much appreciated!! Looking forward to returning.
