“I was having the darndest time finding a store that sold quality, used books. The search was over when I stopped into this store. I picked up 6 titles, some hardcover and some paperback, and I am super excited about the books I found. So much so that I will be leaving work early today to get my ‘read on’. Stop into this store soon- they have other quality items as well.”

“Great place to get gently used things for your house or helping a friend out. Staff are A1 and will still give you a better price at the counter. Say what you want but I use the resources that are available for us as a community. No shame in my game about saving money and getting great quality. Trust me you will not be disappointed.”

“Goodwill in Fairport, New York, on Fairport Road is a very convenient location to make donations. The representative there, Danny, is very friendly and helpful. He carried in our donations and helped us to get a receipt. He made us feel that our donation was very important.”

“Hands down the best goodwill I have ever visited. I enjoy goodwill, I make occasional visits. I quite like shopping at goodwill, but I like shopping at this goodwill the most. The selection is amazing and the service is incredible. This is quite possibly the best goodwill of all the Rochester area goodwills. The weird T-Shirt department is lacking but that is made up for by the abundance of sewing machines. This is THE goodwill to go to if you’re looking for a goodwill to go to.”

“Incredible place..... impressive selection. The attention to detail in the organization of everything is amazing. The group of volunteers that run it are obviously committed to their cause. We got everything we needed for an electrical project plus some other handy odds and ends. We'll definitely be returning.”

“This eclectic consignment shop in the Village Gate in Fairport is one of my favorite shops to find one-of-a-kind outfits, dresses, accessories. You can find evening wear, designer garments. The owners and staff are amazing, and you will find new finds daily. You wouldn't believe the number of times I found garments on the mannequins in the window and walked out with them all! They have a highly selective process in accepting any clothing, you won't find out of style or out of season clothes. It's always a treat spending time here!”

“I'm writing this review for book lovers, for the simple fact is that Goodwill (and Savers and the Salvation Army) have simply become the best book stores in the nation. Barnes & Noble--wonderful as the Pittsford NY location is--has become more of a cafe, toy store, and CD/DVD distribution hub than a book store. Worse, the mental plague that is Woke is finely grinding down the very last national book story chain, Barnes & Noble, like quality coffee beans. There are LGBTQ+ displays, anti-racist displays, marginalized-minority-of-the-month displays, gay posters displayed in the children's section, but where are the contrasting views? Barnes & Noble is such a blessing to the community that I have no wish to fault it for the mild way it pushes certain books and downplays others. My point is only that this doesn't happen at all in Goodwill. Books of every sort appear, new, old, self-published, controversial, contrarian, bizarro, the works. The prices are incredibly affordable, condition varies, but if you want to come across not merely good books but titles and content that surprise you, there is only Goodwill and its charitable colleagues. It's the only book store where you can see the American mind in something like a comprehensive display.”

“Great team here! Everyone I've ever spoken to has been incredibly helpful and goes above and beyond. I can't remember his name but the redheaded man helped me find an antique doorknob most recently. When the screw fell on the floor as he was disassembling it from the door he moved all the other doors and dug around until he found it. And he did! Look here first for your needs, then try other places.”

“Found amazing treasures inside. Happy to see people's books, plays and other media items are given a second chance here. Amazing Staff! Willow in particular was incredibly helpful and accommodating during our visit. Highly recommend!!”

“Amazing place to find well, literally anything! On 1/5/24 I found an Apple Watch at the very bottom of a bin and since it was dead and under a pile of Christmas lights, I assumed it was junk and wouldn’t work. For about $0.08 I bought it, took it home and stuck it on a charger. Well guess what! It came to life, works great, holds a charge for nearly 9 hours and the best part - it’s unpaired and there’s barely a scratch on it!! Loving my new Apple Watch from the bins!! It’s been working flawlessly for 2 days!”

“Update 6/30/22 - changed rating to 4 stars from 1 star. Manager (Dan) coordinated additional pickup for left behind section of bunk beds. Hopefully staff will be trained and canned responses will reflect the supports for bunk beds are included in approved donations.6/23/22 feedback- I find it very wasteful that u will not take the wooden plank support bottom that comes with the bed frame when a bunkbed is purchased.  This isn't a box spring- why won't the team accept this part of the bed?  Someone has to build or buy this as an extra purchase even though they may be strapped for cash?I am disappointed. It would have been helpful to know that you considered the wooden planks that cross the framing a "box spring" when u sent the original note explaining mattresses are not accepted. You should revisit how bunkbeds are sold because that is part of the furniture purchase.  Not a purchase i had to make separate for a "box spring" as your techs tried to explain it.Thanks for considering.”

“Always find good stuff here. I donate alot as well. Great drive through to dump things off. The employees are always nice. Inside they could improve the stale scent in the store...use some fabreeze "air" spray. Good place to thrift shop tho.”

“This location in Fairport, NY is a drop off location only. Disappointed as I thought it was an actual store. Was still able to drop off clothes quickly in their drive thru though.”
