Charged customers during the pandemic even though they were closed and offered no service. Numerous emails were sent that received no reply. I had to contact the credit card company to report fraud. I was told by Patty, the cleaning woman, that they have emptied the place out, sold the equipment, and have no plans to reopen. Like thieves in the night. Terrible. Just terrible.

Super uncomfortable experience here. I called this morning expressing my interest in possibly joining. They told me to come in any time and someone would sit down with me. I get there 15 minutes later and the front desk girl just reads me off prices from the computer, like I'm supposed to remember all that. No flyer no price list of the different memberships, no mention of classes or anything. When she was done she looks at me expectantly like I was going to make a decision and sign up. I finally said is someone going to show me around the gym? I've never even seen the place before. She said oh you can just walk around yourself and points to the locker room and stairs. I awkwardly walked around for 5 minutes and left because I was so uncomfortable. Clearly they're not interested in gaining new members if this is what sign up is like: confusing and uncomfortable. So disappointing too as this gym seems nice and clean and is conveniently located for me.

Rok is a nice gym but the cardio equipment is lacking. They really need to replace the treadmills, get more bikes and add a few stair masters. Half of the treadmills are broken. I tried to change the speed on one and my thumb hurt from pressing so hard on the touch screen. Another one only worked in a different language and another shocked me because the iPod (yes this is how old the machines are) chord is destroyed. Please get new cardio equipment!! This is holding your establishment back from being the best gym in the area! You'll get your money return back I promise!! The gyms nearby are only getting business because of this.

Their spin classes are awesome. The people at the front desk are so helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is very calm.

I love how spacious the facility is. There's always a friendly face and you can't beat the price!

it's the nicest gym on the South shore and it's locally owned

Missing a star because i wish it had A/C. but otherwise, good location, never too busy, have always found a spot and the people are very nice. invest in an A/C, ROK!

I go here during my lunch break and it's nice and quiet. For the most part the gym is clean, sometimes there may be a funky smell in the lockers but that's expected. Not a lot of people and you don't have heavy weights dropping often

This is by far the worst gym I've ever belonged to. Pros: Friendly staff, clean, large. Nice smoothie bar Cons: 1. They have a cardio movie theater. Movies are of terrible quality and you can't hear them over the music and machines. Cardio machines in the theater are not maintained and outdated. 2. Group fitness room is small with tiny mirrors so you can't spot yourself or see the instructors. No step classes. No kick boxing. Most classes are awful. 3. Cardio machines in the main gym have TVs that never work. They are also outdated and in disrepair. They have TVs hanging all over but no way to tune into them. The best part is the guy in the chiropractor office cooking all day so you have to workout to the smell of burgers and hot dogs. 4. Cleaning staff clean the club intrusively, spraying vinegar scented cleaner right next to you while you're trying to work out when the gym is crowded. All done during prime time hours rather than wait until 3pm and later at 9pm. 5. They have yoga and barre class but you have to pay extra. 6. The spin room is in a circle with the instructor in the middle that spins around in a circle. Absurd. Spin Classes are terribly boring. Take this into account if you're joining

Used to be the best! Recently has started to decline. The same equipment has been broken for well over a year now. The water pressure goes out & they don't offer free water bottles for members for the inconvenience. The free wifi goes out & won't give password for other wifi. For what they charge members, they really need to step their customer service up!

I've been a member since they opened. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is large and CLEAN with plenty of equipment, including basketball court, boxing as well as classes for all, a theatre workout room and sauna and even a pool table. They've even got child care and a juice & coffee bar. If you can't be satisfied with workout conditions here you are really looking for something else.

Would not recommend. the staff at the desk are not knowledgeable enough to work there. when you ask questions about you monthly payments they don't know. and i think they need more strength training machines. lastly there is one trainer there that has a "i am better than everyone" attitude which turns me off, do not ask him a questions unless you buy his time. :(
