Don't do it.initially this bank was great, set up was smooth and quick with a friendly face.Fast forward,After a month the entire attitude of this company went in the opposite direction. It took me over a week, 12 phone calls, calling the local comptroller, making several complaints about branch managers, terrible customer service, my children being upset in a public office due to a Rude employee.My fees were $27 to close my account.NEVER use this bank.I was also given my entire month of transaction history without being asked for ID by a Branch manager at a different branch. Breach of confidentiality.I could have been anyone and was given my name address telephone number account history and part of my social without Id.Think that sums it up.

I opened an account online so I didn't have to enter any establishments due to covid I have ms and a low immune system but was being told I had to go into the branch to merge whatever the first girl that answered lied and said I had COVID and couldn't go out then said oh the mgr said he spoke to someone I said I wanted to speak to mgr he said she misspoke he didn't speak to anyone and regardless I had to go into branch I said nothing in everything I read before opening said I had to go into branch which I had already transferred money via my other bank and was told acct was open the manager and whichever lady answered the phone was extremely rude who would want to do business with this branch and if this represents key bank then it's sad

Apparently they can't cash a paycheck, or deposit it into my checking account on the same day. I could go to another bank, cash the check, and then go to keybank with the cash to deposit it, but how much sense does that make? I, can't wait to switch banks in a couple weeks.

The worst bank ever. Went to the atm and made a deposit, The atm malfunctioned and ate my money and did not credit my account. Now they are telling me i have to file a claim with an 800 number and wait 10 days to get my money back. How is that right? Why does the customer have to suffer for the banks mess up? They are quick to place fees on you when you mess up but make the customer wait when its there fault
