I had to come into the store to get a document printed from my phone last week and they were very helpful to me. My only problem is that I'm handicapped because of my Ms and there's no wheelchairs to negotiate the store and this lady named Diana was a very big help to me that evening I cannot say enough about her or the gentleman that helped me at the front counter I will give definitely give the employees five stars but the store itself a one for not supplying at least a wheelchair to get around in the store. It's a good size store and I believe they can justify having one there.

Wonderful experience at this location; one of their tech representatives, John, was very knowledgeable and informative. Wonderful staff, wonderful service, keep up the great work.

Way under staffed. 1 person working shipping and copying. Took 40 minutes to drop off an Amazon return.

The last 2 times I went to return Amazon packages the young man helping was thorough, efficient, friendly and fast. I appreciated it! I know it’s a busy time of year. He’s doing a great job.

I have never received such amazing customer service anywhere! I was greeted when I walked in and the young lady working pointed me in the direction of the self service area after some clarification (on my part) of what I needed. She then made sure I was ok and even went above and beyond and picked a folder for me to put my printed items in after I described what I needed. She was friendly, helpful, cheerful and made my stressful task much less tedious. Thank you for the amazing experience! Excellent customer service!

So I went into this Staples location here and there while working in the area. I have never been greeted entering or exiting the establishment. I've gone in for print help and was ignored then sent to self service. So I hated to go in to my local Staples because I'm not used to this treatment when entering Staples where I'm from. but syracuse seems to lack when it come to black customer getting service. So I had to go in a few weeks ago to get some office supplies for work again I was ignored by the print staff and cashier. I was ignored by another worker on the sales floor named barb who pretended not to see me or any other customer. It was not until I Met an Employee by the name of Chanel where I was greeted. She asked me what brought me into Staples that day? She told me about the app and how to get my rewards and coupons. Helped me set up my app She rang me up. I received AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE from this 1 employee. She is the Only reason I go in to Staples I know that no matter what when Chanel is there I will get exceptional customer service. So now I send all my coworkers there to see her when thy need to go to Staples. Chanel needs to train the rest of your employees on how to service it customers. Give her a raise

I never leave reviews but I have to acknowledge professionalism when I see it. I went to get passport photos and the store seems to have had a recent and significant problem with staffing, stocking, cleaning, etc. but it seemed there was a new leader on site who’d just arrived. I saw her work to make sure that everyone’s needs were met, and to make decisions that were in customer’s best interests. Neither malfunctioning equipment nor being hours old to the location phased her. She handled the situation like a seasoned retail professional, which I no longer encounter often. I sense that the customer experience at this location will improve soon.

I’ve hesitated to write this review the last two trips that I’ve made to this store. I’m finally done. Do not come here if you need any kind of copy service. The entire dept is inept and has received little-to-no training. No one knows how to operate the large copy machine. Ever. It’s just a complicated mystery to everyone. Today, I was told it would take 24 hours to get 2 copies made because they are understaffed. Even though the dept “manager” was in the back room. Don’t waste your time.

I have never been disappointed at the E. Syracuse Staples store, but today a Barb was such a tremendous help I needed to write a review. She was very knowledgeable on printers & cartridges, etc. I will be going to her for help in the future if needed. She is a very sweet employee. Thanks Barb!

I would have given this store a 5-star. Here is the reason why: I went to have a legal document sent by email to staples, then have it printed for me to sign an scanned then sent back out. I approached Danielle who said "she will be right with me", but she was assisting a coworker at the moment. I said ok that's fine, waited 5 minutes, she answered the phone, I still waited. I walked over to the copier to see I could figure out myself how to do the copying and scanning by trying to read the instructions on the copier. The instructions were in fine print which I was unable to read, since I didn't have my reading glasses with me, I walked up to Danielle once again, she seen me coming towards her and tossed the same instructions on the counter and said "read this, it will explain what to do!" Again, not offering to come over to assist. Another customer walked in, she said to that customer "Oh your the one who just called?", assisted her with what she needed and sent her on her way. I got really upset, said "that was very rude to her" , walked outside and told my sister and her best friend what just happened and to calm down because I have PTSD and I'm a cancer patient and I get Anxiety an very exhausted standing for long periods. I rested a minute and I told my sister what transpired , she said we need to go speak with a manager. Which we did. His name was Anthony. Explained my situation, he took over and did the whole transaction himself and apologized for the emplyees attitude and comped the order. He had a very professional demeanor and was able to calm me down and made some small talk and jokes which made us laugh. Anthony was amazing! If it wasn't for him, I probably would never return to this store location again. He needs to be commended for his handling of the problem and saving a customer. He said he would talk to Danielle. I hope she treats future customers with some respect and consideration. Thank you Anthony for saving a customer from not returning to this store!

Firstly, if I was rating the full-service printing alone, I'd leave a 5. I was here a few months ago, and Liam was a rockstar. When I came in this corner was hustling, but the staff made sure every customer was served promptly and no one had to mill about and wait too long, and they switched back and forth between tasks seamlessly. Super underrated to be able to juggle a line and make sure nobody's ignored! The staff were really friendly and helpful. Also, one of my documents accidentally got damaged after I left and they called me right away to let me know so that I could email them the file - my project was still ready on time.So why the lower rating? Well, honestly, this store is pretty run down, and the self-service printing leaves a lot to be desired. I used both- full service to laminate and self-service to print. The printers were pretty beat up and one started fritzing out when I was trying to use it. (And considering that there's a review mentioning a printer being broken from 2 years ago, seems like management just....doesn't care about replacing equipment.) The quality of the printing on the self-serve is not good, and not cheap either. My docs were pretty faded, and if not for being in a rush, I would have forgotten it and gone home to print it myself. Seriously, my bargain home printer could have produced brighter, nicer quality prints. I came here because I was in the area, but I think I'll just do my self printing at the FedEx print center next time, because the price is about the same, the quality is better, and there I don't feel like the machine is going to fall apart if I hit the wrong button- lol. Being inside this store is kinda just sad mostly, it feels like a dying, wheezing along retail relic.I think I'd only come back for the staffed printing service, assuming the team is the same, because they really redeemed the experience- I hope the corporate staff appreciates these team members because they seem to be the only bright spots in an otherwise wasteland of a store. They singlehandedly pulled this rating up because it would have been lower otherwise- or, the sad neglected equipment pulled them down because they're 5-star employees.
