“This vet office has been the savior to my cats and care for them in the way every cat owner wants for the last four years. They have cared and listened to every need, complaint, worry, concern, etc and have addressed them in the most open and honest ways to ensure the owners know what is needed for their pets. You can tell the staff love pets. First vet I have had in a long time where pet care was about pets and not money. Thank you.”
“My dog was not feeling well , and I was able to get in to have her seen . The receptionist - Michelle [the one who has been there many yrs ] took my check in call - and was so friendly as she always is . I seen Dr Fahey and she was as always so good with my dog and diagnosing her illness - the reception person who cashed me out was super nice - [ a new guy ]
Anyway - as always I love this hospital . I recommended my good friend to be seen with her puppy that has a inguinal hernia … and she got in with no issue .

I tried 5 different vets before coming here, and even though I live almost an hour away from the clinic, I will never take my animals anywhere else! I filled out an application online, got a response quickly, an appointment for a stray kitty and she also received a rabies and distemper shots, along with a nail trim and ear cleaning! “We take our Big Fuzz to see Dr. Mollie Spillett for routine acupuncture services even though South Shore is about 40 minutes away from us. We've known Dr. Mollie for some time and she has always been a concerned and interested provider who genuinely wants to resolve (or stabilize) the presenting issues - no matter how complex the issues are.
Everyone we deal with at South Shore is pleasant and professional, waiting area and exam rooms are very clean, and appointment scheduling is flexible.”
“Dr. C saved my cat’s life!
I saw two different vets, multiple times, over the course of two years to try and find out why my old cat was losing weight and just generally in a bad mood. Blood work was always “normal” and she was eating. By the time I found Dr. C, she had dropped to 6.5lbs. It took her 1 minute to diagnose the problem(s). She got blood work to confirm and sure enough, she was right. She also reviewed prior bloodwork and said that one level that was too low on the current tests did look “ok” on the old ones but that she would have been suspicious. But my cat’s main infection- well -the other vets never even thought to test her for it.
Six months later after 21 days of antibiotics, spending weeks tweaking thyroid med dosage, and a dental to pull some bad teeth, my sweet cat is happy and healthy and purring. I don’t feel her spine anymore when I pet her! I am so grateful to Rock Acres and Dr. C!”

“Received excellent service. Had to wait our turn in line from the wait list nothing that we were not expecting. Once it was our turn the service provided was wonderful. Sorry to hear that this location will be closing. We have a regular vet who was unable to see our fur baby until sometime next week. Love the option of being able to get in the same day or next through the wait list. Will miss the service not being available to the us, due to regular vet being overwhelmed and not able to meet the demands of their clients.”
“Its shop city lol name says it all.... From teal ave upon entering the center there's McDonald's, spring nail salon, M&T bank, advanced auto, dollar tree, wines & liquors, some furniture stores, vision place, pawn shop, supermarket, fish cove, laundry, total wireless, metro PCs, and a beauty store... There's some plasma place there too idk bout that though.”
“My dog has been with this practice for a while. We had an appointment scheduled tomorrow, but we had a problem to where I needed her to be seen ASAP or go to the emergency vet. They told me to come in right away, and they helped us out within the hour and a reasonable price. I have a dog who is paralyzed and now she only has 3 toes on one foot, and they've been so supportive of us the entire journey.”
“The doctors and techs here are skilled and compassionate. They diagnosed my cat's hyperthyroid and also discovered the link between hip arthritis and UTI. My cat was doing better than ever in under a month of treatment. I will always be thankful to them for improving her quality of life.”
“I’ve been taking my dog to Compassionate Care for about 10 years. It was the best decision I’ve ever made for my pup. Dr. Endres is extremely educated, thorough, thoughtful and calm and never rushes through any appointments. Connie, Cathy, Jennifer, and MJ are so great and have helped me and my dog through so many emergencies, even surgery on my dog a few years back. I’m a nervous wreck when it comes to my dog but Compassionate Care is always there to help me with every issue. I trust them 100% and whole heartedly recommend their office.”

“I recently brought my cat here for his annual vaccinations. Although we were twenty minutes late because my cat resisted going into the carrier, they still accepted us (it wasn’t very crowded on a Tuesday). Everyone was so helpful including the check-in lady and the vet. They answered all of my questions. It was a quick visit and cost me only slightly over a hundred bucks.”
“I’ve acquired 4 cats in the past year and every time I call they fit me right in! Any concerns I’ve had Dr. Wilcox & all the girls help me out, everyone is very intelligent and love my babies the same way I do! For any financial concerns they go over all the costs before moving forward with anything. They also take pet care credit & the friends of animals certificates which is awesome! They’ve gotten my babies in within days of calling with concerns and they’ve all been resolved. I truthfully don’t trust anyone else with my kids Dr. Wilcox ROCKS!!!”

I wish I could remember everybody's names, but whoever helped moochie whether they helped with his medical needs, helped brush him, or just took a moment to pet him, thank you very much! The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable with having to leave my cat there for a couple of days. They even sent me photos of him.”
