They have cared and listened to every need, complaint, worry, concern, etc and have addressed them in the most open and honest ways to ensure the owners know what is needed for their pets. You can tell the staff love pets. First vet I have had in a long time where pet care was about pets and not money. Thank you.”

“The doctors are all great and have patience with my dog that is petrified when he's there. It's expensive, but most vets are now. My only complaint is the amount of time you have to wait when you try to call there for any reason. Usually on hold for at least 10 minutes or more and the fact that you need to sit in the car with your pet until they are ready to bring you in. An appt that is supposed to be at 6 will keep you waiting in your car till after 6:30 before you get called in.”

“I would highly recommend! I signed up for the Cherry line of credit which was still useful but I was ready to spend a grand on getting testing/treatment for my super senior cat. To have an exam, blood sample, stool sample, urine sample, prescription food, prescription probiotic, and a hygiene clean-up was less than $400. That is unheard of. They even held on to my cat for a few hours to get the urine sample with no extra cost. The staff were so compassionate and took their time with Gizzy. They treated her like a top priority. The vet explained everything thoroughly and really took his time to access her overall health—not just the issue I came in for. Now with the Cherry payment option I don’t have to sacrifice bills going unpaid in order to get my best friend help!”

“Low cost spay & neuter is vital to the public! SANS does an amazing job giving the public a low cost, affordable option. The vets are extremely capable and the staff is sufficient and organized.
I volunteer with a local cat rescue group and have utilized SANS services many times and they always come through.
A spay and neuter service also included vaccinations and nail trimming. You can't find an all inclusive spay or neuter for less anywhere in Syracuse.”

“Dr. C saved my cat’s life!
I saw two different vets, multiple times, over the course of two years to try and find out why my old cat was losing weight and just generally in a bad mood. Blood work was always “normal” and she was eating. By the time I found Dr. C, she had dropped to 6.5lbs. It took her 1 minute to diagnose the problem(s). She got blood work to confirm and sure enough, she was right. She also reviewed prior bloodwork and said that one level that was too low on the current tests did look “ok” on the old ones but that she would have been suspicious. But my cat’s main infection- well -the other vets never even thought to test her for it.
Six months later after 21 days of antibiotics, spending weeks tweaking thyroid med dosage, and a dental to pull some bad teeth, my sweet cat is happy and healthy and purring. I don’t feel her spine anymore when I pet her! I am so grateful to Rock Acres and Dr. C!”

“We started seeing Dr. Spillett for acupuncture when our elderly dog started losing control of his hind end. After a couple sessions we noticed a difference combined with other treatments and a year later he is doing so well. She also has been invaluable in the care of our epileptic puppy and has consistently gone above and beyond to help us deal with a very difficult situation. The staff is also friendly and accommodating our dog looks forward to his treatments.”

“I am so happy my local vet recommended ADSUNY. My little chihuahua mix had a bad dental infection and needed extractions - one in particular (the big lower snaggle tooth) very difficult. The care and concern for comfort for Bailee (and mom) was beyond. She did so well after surgery. A full day plus when she wouldn’t eat, but once she did she perked right up and has not even needed any pain meds. During and post surgery the medical staff were in constant contact by text. Very convenient. Of course it’s a bit pricey, but not more than expected. We had a 5 hour round trip (twice - once for consultation and then surgery) and an overnight for us (coming from Albany area) but I’d do it again. Thank yous all around to Dr. Tetlow and staff.”

“Received excellent service. Had to wait our turn in line from the wait list nothing that we were not expecting. Once it was our turn the service provided was wonderful. Sorry to hear that this location will be closing. We have a regular vet who was unable to see our fur baby until sometime next week. Love the option of being able to get in the same day or next through the wait list. Will miss the service not being available to the us, due to regular vet being overwhelmed and not able to meet the demands of their clients.”

From teal ave upon entering the center there's McDonald's, spring nail salon, M&T bank, advanced auto, dollar tree, wines & liquors, some furniture stores, vision place, pawn shop, supermarket, fish cove, laundry, total wireless, metro PCs, and a beauty store... There's some plasma place there too idk bout that though.”
“Been taking my dogs/cats there for many years. I’ve been very pleased with the care and the staff. My only complaint would be that ever since COVID, we can’t go in the office with our pets. But the Doc always calls when the pet is in there, so all issues are always addressed. Prices are reasonable.”

“My dog has been with this practice for a while. We had an appointment scheduled tomorrow, but we had a problem to where I needed her to be seen ASAP or go to the emergency vet. They told me to come in right away, and they helped us out within the hour and a reasonable price. I have a dog who is paralyzed and now she only has 3 toes on one foot, and they've been so supportive of us the entire journey.”

“I’ve been taking my dog to Compassionate Care for about 10 years. It was the best decision I’ve ever made for my pup. Dr. Endres is extremely educated, thorough, thoughtful and calm and never rushes through any appointments. Connie, Cathy, Jennifer, and MJ are so great and have helped me and my dog through so many emergencies, even surgery on my dog a few years back. I’m a nervous wreck when it comes to my dog but Compassionate Care is always there to help me with every issue. I trust them 100% and whole heartedly recommend their office.”
