“KRB is like a giant toy store for any contractor. Front end service is a little miserable but I can deal with that. I'm sure they were exhausted and nothing to worry about. I still got great service and a great price. Wish I could have made an account there as a new contractor but no one asked; just to get my company name on my receipt.Overall....5 stars. They had exactly what I wanted, making it a smooth experience.The cash out area also gave me an experience of its own. The customer service in that area was very helpful. It's not as common to find such great customer service in most places.”

“It's a good place but it's always profiting, be careful, you arrive with your truck to buy and out of nowhere, tow trucks come out and lift you up and give you any excuse to negotiate and you have to pay because they won't lower your car and you refuse to get off. That's illegal. Be careful, that's wrong, they are cranes, I don't know if it's legal, that's a bad experience, that's why I prefer LOWES”

“My husband calls this the Home Depot that time forgot. Old fashioned service at its best. Every time we go it's clean, employees approach us to help us, people are friendly, and they have what we need. Today I did a return that was entirely hassle-free. The last time my husband and I went an employee spent 15 minutes with us helping us find the right-sized screw for a project. The time before an employee walked me to my destination because he wasn't 100% sure where something was and he wanted to make sure I found it. @HomeDepot corporate, if you ever read your Yelp reviews I hope you see this and give all your Hawthorne employees a raise and the managers a bonus. @Hawthorne Home Depot manager, leaving you a message with your manager on duty now...”

“I am not a huge fan of this home depot due to it being always busy and crowded but I gave it a five star review because of one employee, Stacy (plumbing). while I was there she helped several costumers including myself and still found time to double check if I had everything I needed. I informed her of my DIY project to change my under sink dishwasher branch but was confused on how the pipe should be installed, being my first time.She was kind enough to make sure I had the exact branch I needed, advised on all the tools I would need to install and show me how to put the piece together so I have an easier time installing. Thanks to Stacy, the install took 5 minutes and more importantly absolutely no leaks.Definitely need more Stacys in the customer service world.”

“I remodeled my house a few years ago and had to decide whether to use the big chain across the street... Or Beckerle lumber who have been there for decades. As price was an issue I did my research. When all was said and done Beckerle was iby far the wiser choice. The Big chain across the street was completely useless. Nobody knew what they were doing and nobody even wanted to help me. The guys at berckerle we're amazing, professional, and so helpful they probably saved me thousands of dollars with their knowledge. They saved me from making countless mistakes and we're always there for advice when I needed it. They went above and beyond to make sure my project was completed on time and on budget. If you're doing work, do not waste your time going for discount products and service. Go to the professionals. Trust me they are the best. I will never go any where else.”

“Please notice that most of the really negative reviews are from years ago. That said, I completely believe what Kate wrote. My experience is that the present management is courteous, competent and helpful. I'm in the store 2 times a month or more and am very pleased to have them here in Hastings. They give me 5 star service but I'm male. I think the problem lies with one employee and not the others. Under the previous ownership, there were some exceptionally helpful people and one total j**** I just avoided the j*** and received exceptional service.”

“While the lines can get long here, they go by fast. I find the workers to be helpful every time I come (I often try to do pick up which is the fastest) but this time I walked in and while the line looked scary, it went by in 10mins tops so it all worked out. The selection is always available and there's good value for your money. I just wish they didn't charge for parking but I guess it's not up to them.”

She's great at her job and was very helpful when I had an issue with a Garden item. Usually when I go to Home Depot I'm used to the cold shoulder and lack of knowledge but this one was much nicer than other Home Depots in the area thanks to helpful and kind staff.”
