This January will mark 3 years of me being a customer. Violeta is consistent and a true talent! I trust her for my color, cut and styling. Towards the end of the summer I started to bring my boyfriend’s daughter. She has always dyed her own hair and frequently. Violeta worked her magic to do a much needed color correction & we were recently there to finish the process. She also had a cut & took the time to teach her how to blow dry/style it properly. She looks beautiful! She gets compliments everywhere she goes and it truly helped w her confidence. Violeta & her staff are kind & professional. The salon is clean and welcoming. Came to get styled for my a wedding. And left super disappointed and dissatisfied. They insisted we come early when in fact they only took 20 min to finish styling our hair. Only scrunching which is so damaging to hair and a bit of hair spray our hair literally lasted 3 hours not even till the start of the wedding! Not to mention we came with straightened hair and was charged 100. I don’t recommend coming to this salon if you want quality results and care.Service: Hairstyling

This salon just quadrupled their space after a move, and its still bustling and full! Super professional owners and down to earth young women running the show. Receptionist Yona is as great as anyone in NYC running schedules. Very responsible, never cancel and so reliable. Great blow outs that last. wish i could give zero stars. I have not used thisbusiness and I'm glad i did not. I have seen theirmakeup they do and it is gross and cakey. They areextremely unprofessional. When i unexpectedly raninto traffic, typically a 15 minute drive to a one hourdue to a closed lane on the highway, they cancelledon me on my prom day. When making my appt i alsoasked for simple blow out and curl like stated on theirwebsite but after THEY cancelled my appointment,they charged me 100 dollars. It says on their websitethat a blow out and curls is 55+. First they shouldhave never charged me the full price when cancellingon me but to charge me double is disgusting. I understand being late and them not taking me 100%. But, to charge me the full price is a little outrageous when they claim i knew they would if i was late but i was never told that. And i have pictures of my prom hair from somewhere else - blowout and curls. SIMPLE. And 50 bucks. Not worth 100. Like o said i stated on the phone it would be a “simple blowout and curl” but it was my prom. I don’t believe that they should just charge me and extra 45 dollars bc it was my prom. Thewoman at the front desk was a doorknob. I don't thinkshe is qualified for her job when all she does isanswer phones.

My daughter made an appointment for prom. Curls only— asked me to reserve her place with my card— I did and quoted $55–early April we booked for 5/25. I was with her because she use my card. Hutchison River pkway closed exit and she called to say she’d be late. Called again because the traffic was horrendous. Due to exit. They couldn’t take her — and we understood — we were late we’ll pay $55. THEY CALLED TO SAY THEY COULD TAKE HER BUT HER SISTER TOOK HER SOMEWHERE ELES. SO WE THANKED THEM AND AGAIN UNDERSTOOK WED BE CHARGED 55. They charged us $100. BASICALLY STOLE FROM A 17 year old girl. We called our bank and bbb to report them****This is a response to their comment:We are not arguing about someone’s time. She specifically asked for blow and curls, simple- 55 dollars. We were quoted. And no we were not aware of the cancellation policy so stop lying. Very unprofessional. And yes I do value peoples time and am willing to pay 55 dollars. But I do not value stealing and lying. She did not say “formal styling” that was quoted on your website. She said “blowout and curls -$55” also quoted on your website and did say it was for her prom- which does not give you the right to charge another 45.This is a curtesy to you which you do not deserve. And you answer me back with lies one more time I will fight the full 100.

One of the best hair salons I've ever been to and will continue to come back to for many years to come. They are amazing for any sort of event or function where you need a beautiful hairdo and make up done as well as every day looks such as blowouts, hair cuts and color. Everyone is super friendly and they make sure that you love the way you look!

I love love LOVE this salon! The first time I came in was last August 2020. My hair was an absolute mess from trying to dye it myself during the pandemic. I came in for just a cut with Lydia who was super sweet and not judgmental at all about my mop head lol. She recommended coming in and having their colorist Lola do a touch up. I pushed it off until this March. I had called to see if I could schedule a consultation, and the receptionist was able to squeeze me in for a coloring that very same day. Lola was fantastic and completely transformed my hair, it felt so silky and smooth as I was leaving the salon I was in love! Again, I pushed off going in for another coloring until this August (see my roots in the second picture, yikes!) I set up an appointment with the owner, Violeta, who was very professional and didn't keep me waiting even though the salon was full. I showed her some examples of what I wanted and she knew exactly the style I was going for. Overall the staff is great, the prices are fair, and I will definitely be coming back. My favorite salon! This is my "go to" & my whole family gets their hair done here; whether it's cut, color, style etc. Even though my hair texture and hair pattern is very hard to manage, Lydia and Violet ALWAYS nail it! I really wanted to like this place but honestly I’ve done my hair many times in different salons , and by far my hair has never been as fried as it is now. Terrible. I waited all quarantine to get my hair done only to walk out of the salon Having my hair look just the same but also worse. Yes they did offer to redo my hair but at this point the damage is done and my hair will not stop falling out and I can not get a comb through not to mention the different shades it has. Will never recommend and never going back. This is ridiculous having spent all this money for burnt, fried and damaged hair !!!! & these are photos attached ... btw my root was supposed to be done - my ends were not touched that was my original color, and I got this ... a messed up root with diff colors. There is also a before and after pic.

Came here for my hair and makeup to be done for my baby shower, I have really never left a place happier with my result. My hair styling and makeup was exactly what I envisioned to the T and that never happens... I never get my makeup done cause I do it myself and I was just satisfied 100% beautiful work

Do not waste your time and money! There are better hair studios that won't leave you with damage, fried hair. Unprofessional people that won't go above and beyond to make a first time customer happy. Rude, unpleasant hair dresser that rush you and end up leaving your hair fragile. They definitely don't give the same treatment to me that they do to their own people, so much favoritism going on (saw it in person when I was in the salon) definitely didn't get treated the same. Don't be fooled by the pictures they post, its all taken under professional lighting then edited. Nyc has better hair dressers, have an appt with one to fix the damage this place did!!!
