“My husband and I recently got married at SunCliff, and it was an absolutely beautiful venue for our ceremony! The smaller ballroom was the perfect size for our ceremony and dinner since we only had 10 guests. There are various spots inside and outside the mansion that look fantastic for photographs. The food was wonderful, and the suites that we stayed in overnight were huge and had lovely decorations. We also got to enjoy a bonfire by the lake after our dinner and fun lawn games the next morning before we left. Brenda and Dave were both very friendly and accommodating with how we wanted our day to look. They have definitely done an amazing job with restoring the mansion. The one area that could be improved is communication. Brenda responded to our questions via email in a timely manner, which was appreciated; however, sometimes not all our questions were answered, so then we had to reach out again with the same questions. Another small issue that arose was that one of the waitresses (not sure who) was a bit snippy with us when we inquired about missing side salads that were supposed to accompany some of our entrees. Overall, though, we had a very positive experience with SunCliff and would highly recommend it to people who either live in the area or who want to do a destination wedding on Lake Erie. Everything turned out wonderfully for our special day!”

“I've stayed at the Hampton Inn Buffalo-Hamburg several times for work in Dunkirk/Fredonia. I always have a great stay and the staff is very gracious and helpful. I usually stay for 3-4 days, so I need a refrigerator to keep some fresh food. Upon checkin, I opened the fridge to find it was plugged in and turned on, but not functioning. Within 5-10 minutes of calling the front desk, a wonderful and friendly woman, Charlene arrived to investigate. Within minutes she had determined the fridge needed to be replaced. She already had the cart ready to take it, and returned shortly thereafter with a brand new refrigerator and installed it. She was so kind, courteous and most of all, she was quick to problem solve. I travel a lot for work and she really made it a point to make it feel like home. Thank you Charlene, and thank you Hampton Inn Buffalo-Hamburg. I'll definitely be back!”

“This was an exceptionally nice motel!

•We checked in at 3 AM and the gentleman at the desk was kind and helpful.
•Our room was very clean.
•Area was generally quiet during our stay
•This location was very close to fast food & restaurants.

Only downsides we saw were that our icebox in the mini fridge was completely frozen & the pool was closed for fixing during our stay. That did not impact us that much though!

We loved how nice our stay was for such an affordable price!
