“Technically I live 2 miles closer to the Hamburg store but it is like a world apart from North Collins. I live in a rural area and I connect to the atmosphere in North Collins better than the crowded suburban area that Hamburg has become. I have a number of different rural routes and get what I need from the North Collins store and return home faster than the trip to just reach the heavily trafficked are where the Hamburg store is located. I have chickens and extensive gardens and North Collins is better suited to my needs. The North Collins staff is much more knowledgeable about animals needs and farm related products. Hamburg is more like a glorified pet store that carries tools and clothing. The North Collins employees have a greater knowledge about the products and are very friendly and quick to help. Hamburg employees are not familiar with much other than the front end and it is difficult to get help with bulky or unusual items. Until the North Collins store opened I had little practical choice on where to shop now North Collins is a no Brainer choice.”

The employees here were very friendly and professional. Only giving 4 stars because the prices on a lot of items here are A LOT higher than other stores. Otherwise, it's a well stocked, clean store.”

“I dealt with the grooming department and Kenna Fox was our groomer. She was excellent! Our dog can be a little difficult and grumpy! Which raised concerns for us. She handled him very well and said she would be more than happy to work with him again in the future. I’m definitely going back!”

“My wife and I can't say enough good things about the staff at this PetSmart. When we moved to Orchard Park we needed to find a place close by for our senior standard schnauzer to spend his days in camp. Klaus would practically bound across the parking lot to get into to see all of his friends amongst the staff and fellow boarders. Over the course of two years he spent the majority of weekdays at PetSmart. We monitor our dog's behavior closely and based on our observations know that Klaus was welcomed and well cared for by the staff. We recently moved to North Carolina and were floored that the staff were so thoughtful to send Klaus some going away presents -- presents that indicated they knew Klaus like we know Klaus: breath chews to make his sardine habit less offensive, hip and joint chews for the old boy, a blanket for his naps, and balls for the puppy inside. We can't recommend this location any more than five stars, and so all I can say is that it's an honest and well earned five stars.”
