“I just got back from spending a few days at Emerald Glen with my dog (Blu) and Aussie golden mix who wants only to run as fast as he can and glories in that ability here at this very special utopia! I have been coming here for many years and have always enjoyed this Shangri-La. When my dog is in heaven, so am I .There is no other place like this, truly! I’ve looked for something closer to my home. It doesn’t exist. It doesn’t exist anywhere. When dog friendly places are advertised, it means they will accept a dog. Here, Ian, Mindy and John welcome them., Welcome in all ways Meaning they welcome their humans as well. When I started out a week ago coming up to Emerald Glen I lost my GPS and my phone ability and got hopelessly lost. I was unable to call to say that I would be late and when I finally was able to get there And apologized to Ian, who had been waiting over two hours for me, he was so kind and to my apologies only said he was worried about me and was very glad I had gotten here.
If you’ve read any reviews, you know how beautiful the trails are how safe you will feel with your dog on the completely fenced 30 to 40 acres and then beautifully landscape trails that have their own “natural fencing“. It is so wonderful to be able to relax with your pup without worries and they know it too. Blu was smiling the whole time - he never wants to leave. In addition, you can feel completely comfortable coming here with your dogs as Mindy and Ian vet them all to be sure that they will be fine together. It’s a win-win situation from the start.
I could go on and on about this amazing place. A real lifesaver for me and (Blu) and I can promise anyone who loves their pup and comes here will have the time of your lives and will come back and back and back. I know I will.
