I've been coming here well over a decade & it's always packed. I don't know if this place ever has a quiet time. You can pick up everything u need from meat to seafood to greens..its is all extremely fresh! My faves are the shrimp shumai & bok choi. Prices seem average & no you probably won't get friendly staff but really who shops at the market to make friends. Buy your food & move on. The parking lot is a bit of a headache but manageable. Am happy this place is still thriving.

I come sky food mart every day to buy fresh fruits and vegetables for my restaurant. And I paid at the restaurant because I got 5% off every time I bought some. Few of the employees I met were at the counter. She is always smiling, sweet, and uses her 5% off store card for me. But today I don't see her.I met a cashier I had never met before. I may have bought a little too much today. I told her I would like a 5% discount on the restaurant. I talked to her nicely. But this employee laughed at me saying that this was just for the restaurant and she turned to laugh with another employee. And used very bad manners in using discount card for me. And this employee made a lot of gestures and teased me like this. There are no discounts at all. And still laughing at me of which I am a customer Can it be reduced or not? She was just doing her job. and laughing behavior Ridiculing at customers shouldn't be done because she's a service worker. Today I feel very bad about this employee's behavior.

SkyFood serves as our primary Chinese grocery store option. The consistent bustling activity might seem overwhelming, but it's actually a testament to the high product turnover and the resulting freshness.Notably, SkyFood takes the lead in offering fresh Bo Bo chicken—a delectable example of Buddhist-style chicken that boasts unparalleled flavor within the market.

At least once a week, I will come here for Chinese vegetables and Chinese fruits to fill my grocery shopping for the week. The price is extremely reasonable and the iota is someone wide enough for you to push your shopping cart, but the cashiers of passing efficient in checkouts, and the food and vegetables are fresh. This is also a good place to pick up your fresh seafood. I like to get a center cut salmon to fry up during the week for my omega-3 fatty acid. There is free parking in the back, but you have to go through some potholes.

We have been shopping here alternating week and I enjoy trying vegetables and fruits that are not available in American grocery stores. We all have eaten the same things over and over again which can lead to food allergies. Try fresh Chinese yams or carrots in place of potato or carrots. Try black sesame seed cereal or others in place of oatmeal cereal. They have seafood and butcher section with many options. This places is a definite recommendation!

Love this place, the seafood and meat department is always stocked the produce are always fresh. When the eggs were sky high in other places in sky food they were 2.99 a cartoon. This is the best place to get all your Asian snacks and ingredients?

Friendly staff, they have the cheapest sweet potatoes. If you’re on diet, hit it up.

I got yelled at by an elderly staff tonight here. I was picking up lettuces and putting back then ones that are open or partially open seeing the inside lettuce which some are not fresh and browning already so obviously I had to put them back and choose a better one. He approached me and started yelling at me in Mandarin which I obviously did not understand and had to ask somebody to translate. Very embarrassing experience.

Just a regular Chinese supermarket. Have a parking lot! Not too many items to show customers if it compares with the same chain name supermarkets in Flushing

Compared to the other supermarkets in the vicinity, this is by far one of the best. It is one of the more brightly lit and cleanest supermarkets in the area. The prices are also on par and sometimes lower compared to the other supermarkets in the area. There is a parking lot, but when the store is busy, I suggest parking on the street outside. Plenty of street parking around, without possibly getting into an accident from the tight parking spots in the lot. There is a wide selection of products. My parents come and purchase lobster and fish from here. The soy milk is fresh compared to D&Z Supermarket, which can sometimes be a hit or miss. I've gotten expired soy milk from D&Z Supermarket and didn't even notice until I got home. This place has never had that issue. The vegetables and fruits are some of the freshest I've found compared to all the other supermarkets in the area. The ice cream options are also cheaper than the other supermarkets. The ramen section is much vaster and also has a wide range of different prices. I'm sure other comparisons can be made, but this is what I've noticed the most.

no parking even with the very limited parking in the back. I would not go to this particular SkyView market again. Overall it's like any other Chinese grocery market with fresh fruits, meats, veggies and canned /dry goods.
