The table assigned to the basement had a bad smell. I ordered several bowls but none of them tasted good. I was disappointed. I don’t understand why there are so many people lining up?

Cash only. Both of us spent total of $95 on a dinner. We expected cheaper in a Chinese restaurant. Too expensive.

A typical no-frill, cash only asian establishment in Elmhurst. Just to be clear: this is TAIWANESE restaurant incase their name was clear enough. I’ve been coming to this joint since forever and oh god i miss the old times when i used to live close by and prices were lower. Their dishes have always been excellent and portions are generous. Again, cash-only!

I don’t know why they kept messing up my big table rezzy even I called to confirm but let alone that I like the food here and so did my friends. The price is not bad considering the inflation but it’s cash only. The food is definitely authentic loved the stinky tofu and pork chop. They accommodate large table downstairs. I got my bday dinner here with family and friends. They don’t sell cakes just to clarify.

My favorite restaurant in Elmhurst! Reasonable price, and amazing food. The salty crispy is to die for. (free parking lot which is a plus)

I always enjoy memorable moments at this Taiwanese cuisine restaurant, where the flavors are delightful and the prices are fair. The fried pork chop over rice and the fried chicken legs over rice are particular favorites for my entire family. A consistently delicious experience.

Sharing thoughts on a restaurant I’ve been dining at for a long time – I started enjoying this Taiwanese cuisine since 2003. Back then, the flavors were excellent, and the prices were reasonable. Many have told me that the owner has changed several times, but I’m unsure if it’s the owner or the chef who has undergone multiple shifts. Getting to the point, this time, we mostly ordered snacks:1. Oyster pancake was decent,2. Fries stinky tofu was average, with less intense flavor than before.3. Crispy fried intestine wasn’t very clean in the middle, not crispy enough. When we complained, their response was that it’s less tasty without the intestine’s flavor. So, if you’re sensitive to flavors, avoid it.4. Glutinous rice & sausage were alright, although not as authentic as in Taiwan.5. Flavored glutinous rice – don’t order this; I suspect it was pre-made and microwaved, as the inside was hot but the edges were hard and dry.6. Oyster in thin noodle – definitely avoid this one. The taste and noodles don’t match those from Taiwan or the southern Fujian region, and surprisingly, they added vinegar in advance, resulting in a sour and highly unappetizing flavor.Lastly, this place only accepts cash and offers no discounts. Confirm that the prices on your bill match those on the menu, as many Chinese restaurants, especially handwritten ones, may have variations.

My go to for Taiwanese food in Elmhurst. I always enjoy their food. Love their beef noodle soup, the hot and sour soup and their pork chopped or chicken leg rice.when it gets busy, it could get noisy in their. Overall really good authentic Taiwanese food. Great local place and still affordable.
