Gerber is under new management. Thank goodness. I had an issue that wasn't taken care of before he took over. When I called again (this issue was three years old), I was able to speak to him personally. He also made sure it was taken care of right away. I would recommend them under the new management.

I have never been to any of the local shops in New York for body work or collision. All I can say is they have a great customer service base and good workers doing good things.

They were polite, but their work for the price they charge is mediocre at best. They had to replace my headlight, driver side fender and front bumper. And they said they would repaint those parts and my driver side door because they scratched it trying to open it. Plus my hood which the paint had a crack in from when the deer ran into the side of my car. The fender wasnt centered, part of my grill was cracked. And months later I noticed the paint on my hood was spotty and had bare spots in it. I took it back and the manager Intantly said they never painted the hood. Denied the cracked grill. If you have the option, go somewhere else. They've got amateurs working there, everyday I look at my car now, I'm upset I had them fix it. Plus they charge WAYYYYY TO MUCH MONEY!Services: Painting

Fast and easy process!!! The staff were fantastic and very helpful and welcoming. My vehicle got assessed quickly and was able to schedule appointment for repair the following week. Car rental met me at the shop. My vehicle repair was completed on time as they estimated. Picked it up and left keys for the rental right there. Everything was very smooth. And the paint looks great; like new again?

It's no surprise to hear the negative things about Gerber Collision and Glass. They've had my car for four weeks now. And it was suppose to have been a two week process. I understand the additional parts and the time to get it right. I got hit in the driver's side door and hit a deer on the front driver's side. The lady on the phone today said my car was going into the paint shop on Monday and when my husband spoke to them last, it was going into the paint shop then. Glad my insurance is paying for it cause theyve doubled the price. I won't be using them again if need be!!!!!! Apparently don't know what they are doing.

Gerber Collision & Glass was so efficient, quick, and I appreciate them so very much! Not only did they fix my windshield, but when I arrived at 4:30 pm, a half hour before they closed, my tire was flat. They took care of me right away at no charge and helped me get it to where I was able to drive it home. Thank you SO much!Service: Auto glass repair

They ordered all the parts before I brought my car in! Gerber said it would be 7 working days! Every time I call them it’s in reassembly but I marked my tire and the car hasn’t moved? They keep saying 05/20/22 ? Ok so why would you quote me 7 days but now want to keep it over a month? Don’t waste your time with this garage! They lie, give you false information and basically are crooks! Go to Manchester’s which is where I normally go! Never again will I come here! I wouldn’t trust them to fix my broken pen!!!! Photos show still in reassembly! Every text I get is reassembly! It’s in reassembly! Looks like it’s still just sitting in the same spot to me!Service: Body & Trim

Got my vehicle fixed here after hitting a deer. At first glance the work looked well, but upon closer review I notice many imperfections. Crack in the lining around the grill, the headlight was pushed back about an inch from the bumper and that was never fixed (even though I was told I got two new headlights). Wish they would pay more attention to detail and put more care into my vehicle. The paper mats that are placed in the car to keep it clean, were all soggy with mud. Mud all over my floor mats. Other places I’ve previously gone to, cleaned up after themselves and made the car look nice. Would’ve wish they would have done the same. I want to take it back in to get fixed, but I’m without a car again as it’s currently back in the shop for warranty repairs unrelated to this collision, and I don’t feel like being without a vehicle for a month again after getting it back just to have it fixed right. I just wish they would’ve put more care into it and done it right the first time, considering they had my vehicle for over a monthService: Body & Trim

Worst experience ever! I was told my vehicle would be complete 2.5 weeks from when I dropped it off. It’s been 5.5 weeks and they haven’t even STARTED. My rental through insurance was only 30 days so I have no transportation. This was a minor dent, I could have been driving my vehicle until they knew they could get it in.Service: Body & Trim

NIGHTMARE made my whole accident situation into a long drawn out process. I dont know where to start with this so I am going to keep my experience to a minimum. I had them do front end repair on my vehicle head light, bumper, grill, and hood. I had to go back 5 times.1st was the headlight not installed properly2nd was hood emblem peeling and grill emblem not secured3rd time was not all hoses and vents were hooked back up4th was tools left under my hood and just below my windshield and headlights were never aligned5th was they installed a cheap head light instead of my xenon...hopeing I wouldn't notice.All in all absolutely the worse place I've ever delt with. They never even called me back after talking to them about my headlight which was a $500 dollar difference. I HOPE THIS STOPS YOU FROM CONSIDERING USING THIS COMPANY. Body work on car was great, communication was great. The manager lady the minute I asked why I had a check engine light on....instant attitude and condescending demeanor. No light before crash should be none after. She tried to blame it on my car having recalls(all already fixed and none to do with the engine light issue). Scam with insurance to not fix things I'm sure.

:/ wrecked my Subaru no thanks to ALL the deer around here. Pretty disappointing cause I really like that car!! Entirely grateful for Gerber's service, support and personalism! I waited to review a bit to be sure I wasn't jumping the gun here. Truthfully besides the twitch I get when I get anywhere near my airbag now I can't tell there was ever an accident! N considering I was probably just shy of being totaled out...pretty impressive if you ask me! IDK, that bill was atrocious, thanks full coverage / Statefarm!!!Sorry no photos....airbags really REALLY suck n I didn't think about it at the time.
