Worst bank Ive ever done an auto loan with. Shady, expensive, lots of hidden fees and interests, they don't do ANY refinancing, and their automated system lags and constantly caused late issues, even credit report issues on THEIR end. Sooo glad I payed my car off early just to get rid of them. Will NOT recommend in any way shape or form. Good riddance.

CCTC has been my bank since 1985, I've always been greeted warmly by the staff. I have only had one issue in that entire time. I finance my cars though this bank and have great rates. Getting a personal loan with a low rate was very easy and very little time.( I think I was there for about an hour.) Left with the money in my account.For as long as I can remember the staff at CCTC has always been friendly and helpful.At this point I don't think I would go anywhere else.

I have called Chemung Canel Trust Company on two different occasions for two different situations. One concerning cashing a money order, and the other one concerning a friend of my not having a proper I.D. to cash their paycheck that is through Chemung Canel Trust Company. Both times that I had called them I have gotten told one thing over the phone, and then when I actually went there in person I have been told something totally and completely different then what was told and explained to me over the phone. Witch in my personal opinion is totally and completely unprofessional.

Outsourcing their dispute process was the worst decision they've ever made. I've been trying to dispute a transaction for about a month, and I keep getting ignored or told to call someone else. The charge in question is clearly listed in my transaction history, but I have yet to convince anyone it even happened.

Unreliable service when I have issues with Debit card purchases! Also this bank sits on direct deposits way too long!! My current new bank and my previous bank let my SSDI disability money go several days earlier ! I was late paying my cellphone bill because of Chemung when the 3rd fell on a weekday! Account closed moving on! I have a much better bank now!!! Goodbye Chemung it was "not" a pleasant ride.
