The staff is on point, polite and pleasant to deal with, meds are always on time and I'm notified, everytime never a hiccup. Always friendly and smiling, I enjoy shopping and getting my meds here. Recommend to everyone

They have a new employee in the Pharmacy who asked me if I was picking up for my DOG when I gave her my sons name. Then a month later same employee gave me an attitude when I was asking how to get a medication that was out of stock at that store. If I could give negative stars I would. This employee needs to be out of there.

Don't understand how to take a shift lunch so they are always staffed. Get you prescription filled somewhere else. If youre in pain or sick and get a script filled while theyre on lunch youre out of luck until they finish. Im here at 2pm waiting and they have still not returned and opened back up for me to get my script.

11/30/21 MY review for your pharmacy tonight is a - 0 I have been with Echers/Rite aide for 40+ years. The service at the pharmacy has been declining in the last 3-4 years with no improvement in sight. I received a call from the pharmacy at 7:52pm that my prescription was ready for me to pick up. I got to the pharmacy drive thru at 8pm. There were two car in front of me. The pharmacy took 20 minutes with the 1st car and 10 with the second car. When I reached to window, I was told, "We are closed." I explained I was in the line at 8pm and waited 30 minutes to get my prescription. I told them I was out of my medication. I told her I got the call to come and get my prescription. She replied, "We are closed." This uncaring person had no empathy or consideration for my welfare or need of my medication. She refused to give me my medication and told me, " You will have to come back tomorrow, We are closed." She just gave the car in front of me their prescription. I was in the line at 8pm, the pharmacy was not closed. Why wouldn't she provide the same service she gave to the 2 cars in front of me? I moved to Elmira from the Rochester area about 11 years ago and what a difference. I was a Rite Aid shopper back then but I've never been in a nicer location. Their customer service is outstanding, and it's honestly one of the cleanest I've ever seen. I get all of my vaccines and prescriptions there and I couldn't ask for a better crew. I'm a customer for life!

I have been stuck going to this paharmacy for a year now. I would switch but my Doctor says it will be a big deal to change everything in their system. There is something very very wrong with this pharmacy. I suspect it's a culture problem due to some very bad employees. I have had multiple bad experiences with my monthly prescription renewal here. On very my first occasion going here, a pharmacy tech was entering my information into the system when she yelled my name across the room while several other patrons stood by. She then spouted "YOU don't have insurance??" For starters, I do have insurance but this prescription is a worker's comp case. So my insurance is not used. I was thorughly embarrasses and furious that she shouted this and my name across the pharmacy. This must be a HIPPA violation. Anyway, a month later, my script was due and when I went to pick it up, the young man who waited on me said they were still waiting on approval. He said it could be days. I could not wait for days so I paid out of pocket and had to be reimbursed. I worked it out with my Doc to call the scripts in at least 4 days prior so they could get the approvals out of the way. The next month the very same thing happened. They told me the same story and I said they have had the script for 4 days...when did they send it for approval? The tech said they sent the request in the day the received it. I was skeptical but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I again had to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed weeks later. This has now happened 5 times in less than a year. Same thing each time. So I contacted my insurance company to find out why the approvals were not being sent through in a timely manner. She did some research and advised me that each time, Rite-Aid did not sumbit the script to them until the day and time I was standing at the counter. So as I suspected, they were lying to my face. I will be contacting the corporate office about this because the head pahramcist was part of the problem and part of the lies. It should also be noted that I have observed them talk very rudely to many customers besides me. I thought they may just not like me but when I saw them being rude to other people including a sweet old lady, it became clear there was a serious culture problem here. Will update later. In the meantime, I highly recommend going elsewhere.
