“THIS REVIEW IS NOT FOR BOLT STORAGE!When this was owned by the same person that owned the units on “the corner of 414” (and Bob Masia Dr.), the service was fantastic. I couldn’t be happier. Extremely helpful, friendly, compassionate, understanding. I was lucky to have such a fantastic unit landlord. If I couldn’t pay my rent, he was lenient with me. He knew I was always good for it. I’m not sure if he still owns this office but I can tell you that Bolt storage now owns Southport, the “corporate office.”Bolt storage came in, raised my rent $55 over all. I received reminders by bill was due by the 3rd, the 9th, the 12th, and almost every couple days they were in virtual contact letting me know how I was getting it put to me. If I was unable to pay they tacked on “lockout fees” and then “over lock fees” of $50 each time. About every 10 days (and I think I’m being conservative). This made it utterly impossible to pay my rent. My rent was only $125 prior to them coming in. They are thieves, terrible business practices. I’ve never seen one Bolt storage person, only spoken to their middleman. They might last if they continue to eat customers. Nice guys finish last, they must’ve learned that a long time ago.”
